SPEC: what's the deal with the seeds?

Ok, I don't have any good spec, but I figure you all might and I'd love to hear it! There's gotta be something there, but what?

The seeds have shown up in someone's (frangrave's in Texas) mail box and now they've been included in an email to Dale.

We know that they are digitalis purpurea or foxglove. We also know that they are quite pretty (like that has something to do with the price of tea...).

So, is this a sign from Digitalis? Is it a sign about Digitalis? Why do the brother's care about flowers (going on the fact that the email was sent using blindmailerproxy and that's what the brother's use)? Are those oh so threatening emails actually from the brothers or are they from something a bit more sinister? Is the latest sent by someone else that just happens to use blindmailerproxy as well (after all, the other's were signed 'your friends' and the one with the flowers isnt)? Am i going insane? don't answer that last one!

So, what are your answers to the above questions? What's your spec?

just for comparison purposes:
email 1 from blindmailerproxy: Did you think we forgot about you?
email 2 from blindmailerproxy: A matter of time
email 3 from blindmailerproxy: Planting Time? (really has a different feel from the other 2, don't ya think? maybe? i mean, really, why would the brothers care about flowers?)

More random spec

Hmm, thinking about what you posted about the messages being from Digitalis. Maybe there is some price for the wish. Perhaps you have to assist with the next wish. Sort of a warped pay it forward idea.

If Dale got enough money to pay back the brothers, then why would they still be bothering him and why would he be hiding? Is he just traumatized by the idea that he caused their deaths, or is there something more he is afraid of?

I think that, in the story thus far, Dale hasn't claimed the $ from the ins company, and therefore hasn't paid off the bros.

Digitalis

I dont' know if this means anything, but although digitalis is used as a drug to help heart disease it is also extremely poisonous and can be fatal if ingested.

Could it be some kind of veiled threat? It doesn't seem like it, but the poisonous nature of the flower could be something to consider also.

SPEC:Gonna plant those seeds ?

Here's my spec on the latest e-mail, if it is from the bros...

Digitalis is "AWOL".
Maybe the brothers have him and are insinuating that they will "plant" him in the ground, ya know, like bury him.

The brothers can't get at Dale, they can't threaten him anymore with harm to his family, so thay are holding the fortune teller.

Of course that would presume alot... that Dale needs Digitalis to track down ""the wish" in order to undo what has happened...and that the brothers know that Dale needs Digitalis.

Probably too far of a leap?

Just spec anyway.
