There is a Hare in Bethnal Green and a Jugged Hare in Pimlico. The latter looks nicer.

I think melinda couldn't make tuesday, daisy couldnt make thursday and amadeus couldn't do friday :p tuesday's probs best for me though. Is anyone else planning on coming? you know you want to...

jugged hare sounds relevant Smile but the weather's so nice maybe we should go somehere by the river? I thought maybe the Coach and Horses with it's famous romantic view of the canal (from story four :p ) but unfortunately I can't find it, it's meant to be on the regent's canal basin but maybe it was made up.

I don't mind really, as long as it serves bear i'm going to be happy.

Good one! It's in the Landmark Hotel which may mean it is somewhat pricey, though.

Not so keen on mirror bar, I'd prefer a pub if that's ok, where did you all go with jacques? that looked quite nice.

That is disgusting, Faustus. Bears are endangered, you know. Razz

Tuesday would be Ok for me as well.

We were at the Jerusalem with Jacques, gorgeous place, but very very small

The weather does look like it could be good, so second the call for somewhere on the river/with outside bits, even though you know it will be busy.

Also prior warning that Tues is my birthday...so I may already have been celebrating!

Oh, cabbage, I thought you knew....it's hard to talk about this openly and I've only just admitted it to myself really but...
I'm a Bear.

I first noticed I was different when I was just a young boy (cub) all my friends wanted to go and ride their bikes in the woods, but my legs were too short for the pedals and I much preferred to fish for salmon with my bare (bear) paws in the river. This in itself should have tipped me off but I put it down to the strict fish, nuts and berries my mum had me on.

It was only when I got my first girlfriend that I realised something was up though, we were in the cinema watching a soppy girly movie, the date was going well, and I was ready to move in for a kiss. but horror of horrors instead of giving her a peck on the lips as I'd planned I instead messily devoured her head and upper body. My natural bear instincts had taken over. I then proceeded to steal a nearby pikernic basket and make my escape. When I got home my mother revealed all to me. She'd had an affair with a bear when she was younger, but my father had been killed by an enraged hunter. I cried big salty bear tears and vowed to shut myself away from humans forever as they could never understand my animalistic nature, and because I was always eating them by accident.

I do like beer though.

Edit: maybe a pub on the river near hammersmith/putney then? The Dove is really nice, but may be a bit far for some people

or The Blue Anchor by hammersmith bridge, or the Old Ship a bit further up...these are all west london though so may be a bit of a treck..not many riverside pubs in central london 'cos the roads run by the river.

I tried to buy it. It's already Out Of Stock. Must have a word with Penguin about their stocktaking system Rolling Eyes

The "Published" date is intriguing, too...

Yay, she mentioned the British Museum! (Even if only to debunk the possibility of launching a ninja assault on it to grab the other mirror).
