So now we're back to the whole, get a burst of clues, wait forever, then get another burst of clues, repeat.

Why can't they just constantly put out stuff for us to do in the ARG? I mean sure, more work for them, but what the hell else are they going to do?

drive us all insane Very Happy it's more fun to drive fans batshit crazy, and have them chomping at the bits, than to give them what they're hoping for day-in and day-out.

case-in-point: how stoked will we all be when something new DOES pop up?

Yeah, thats why i asked. I checked that out too, and if its NOT a new Aliens movie, then why the hell would there be a chestburster on the webbie? wierd ass shnit...

OT: it would seem that whatever the hell it's gonna be about, that this thomas dude just has an obsession with movie monsters. the latest thing to be found, his diary, shows pics of xenomorphs, cloverfield ads, and various other stuff.

it would absolutely rule if they made another (good) aliens movie, though Very Happy

I searched like a BILLION times for this but tell me if this has been discussed before.

There's an 11-digit number on the back of the steelbook version:

11111011758

The number was mentioned in the link below, but which version it was on wasn't specified, and I don't know if anyone remembers it.

http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=25305&highlight=11111011758

I was thinking that this may be a possible password for the usgx site. I'll be checking that, and maybe you guys could help. Thanks!

11112014276 - Declassified stickers, canadian versions.
11111012069 - Canadian case
11111014288 - Steelbook case, my best guess.
11111012009 - Review Copy case.
11112014349 - Project Cloverfield sticker

There should also be one for the plain US release version, non-review, unless it's the same as the review copy. There may be additional ones for other region DVD's.

This is the best I could do. Hope it's correct.

This is a great translation. Unfortunately there was one word that you were unable to read and you wrote the translation as "???".
I couldn't read the dang thing either.

Then I ran it through a few filters and figured it out. It's no big deal, but I'm sure we fans don't what ANYTHING to remain a mystery.

The word is "LIKE". The sentence reads

"(unknown) like it's searching for them or (unknown)."

^ Thank you. Really, I have only seen the Sword here - http://www.usgx8810b467233px.com/access.htm . My question, though, is- was the Sword always there, from when this place was first discovered? Or was it added? o_o

That's an important question because I know for a fact that the sword logo was not originally on the Tagruato, Slusho and JamieLovesTeddy sites, but they are there now.

Hopefully this demonstration will be the end of the idea that the "sword logo" is in the pictures.

Hehe thanks Very Happy But i still cant make out the facial fetures. Looks like a human face cut in half for me. Its weird. The body is correct though

I have a different view of what we are seeing in this picture. Based on the creature's face in the movie, I do not think we are seeing its face at all in this picture, but rather the top and back of its head! The creature is swimming upward toward the rig's decks and looking outward toward the upper left.

Just my opinion.

Try this slightly adjusted image to help you make out the mouth better. I also wouldn't go too strongly on that toy image, the teeth on top are way too large and out of proportion compared to what we've seen in the film. Look at the closed mouth head next to it - those teeth wouldn't even fit in there.
I left one image unmarked, then marked the key areas on the other. You'll note the area with the shape of the small central teeth, and the jawline.
