Something I just thought of on IRC in a discussion;

The Emergen-C packet was in the original package, right? Maybe the packages were from Gough who faked his death. A good way to show that he was in danger/the company was in danger. He has to leave because there was an "emergen-c" and he's warning us by guiding us to Nate.

I asked Nathan what George had said to him about the beers since he said in his blog that the CEO mentioned it again, this is what he posted back:
Quote:
I'm pretty over it. George was pretty nice about it. He's a good guy, but when Erik comes around everyone is on edge. I relieved some stress though... if YouTube ever lets me upload, you'll see.

So, more video coming from Nathan.

When I found the flickr account for "randomknowledge", I emailed the link to Nate. Before he replied I sent a second email telling him about the "holomove=hollowmoves" solve thebruce came up with. Here's what Nate said.
Nate wrote:
Hi Roxanne,

Nice find (friend). Unfortunately that doesn't mean anything special to me.

I wish my name backwards was as cool as yours. "Nahtan" not so hot.

Nate

Now a weird thing about the second email I sent, I used the word "hollomoves" twice. In both instances they are now highlighted yellow. No kloo why.

Sorry if this is a little redundant but I found this website that talks about Physicist David Bohm.

Quote:
[Bohm] had begun in his youth with the Copenhagen interpretation, in which the particle does not exist, which he had always found unsatisfactory.
...
Then finally, in the superimplicate order, the particle does not exist except as an abstraction in our minds or an epiphenomenon perceived by our instruments. What exists is the holomove-ment, which in this case consists of the continuously changing quantum field (or implicate order), and the superquantum potential (or superimplicate order).

The picture on the flickr page has the Copenhagen sign, could this be what it is referring to? Does anyone understand these theories and can explain it to me in like 5 year old terms?? I'm clueless Confused

flickr puzzle

I guess that Gough made the crossword puzzle up from scratch not just filled in wrong answers on an easy crossword. otherwise it'd be a coincidence to have:

hidden-images
something-community
important-knowledge
locate-random

very clever anyway. i also figure that OOG they probably expected to us to put these parallel answers together a bit sooner, which is why Nate has pointed it out for us, under the guise of his continued curiosity.

In Game: Nate has shown some curiosity about what the crossword puzzle means. Don't you think we should let him know about our flickr findings? I'm going to post a quick reply to point him in the right direction.

My only concern is that HR knows about his blog (they mentioned it in the email) and so perhaps we shouldn't share too much sensitive info in his blog. I don't think it's that important yet, but later on maybe it might be; wouldn't want to get our insider in any more trouble.

Edit: here's the comment I made on the blog...

Quote:
Hi Nate:

It turns out that the fake answers mean,

important: locate something hidden

and they are filled in over the real answers,

images community, random knowledge

this led a friend of mine to suspect that there might be an online image community where something important was hidden. and lo and behold, there is a flickr account by the name of randomknowledge. here's the link.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/randomknowledge

there is... wait for it... another a puzzle! (Which my friend has already solved.)

I don't want to ruin the puzzle for you, I know you're a fan, but as the crossword says, this is important.

The solved puzzle says: Holomove=Hollowmoves.

I think it's time to start sleeping with one eye open, ear to the ground and all that.

Let us know what you make of this equation. And take care!

Alex

Edit 2: it just occurred to me that Roxanne's comment that says "L@@K in gmail" could well be pointing Nate to an email of this solution. Oh well. This is the first time I've even connected the blogger account name to the possible email address: CodeWtrN8...gmail.com Rolling Eyes

Edit 3: tried sending an email to that gmail address and it failed. so I don't know what the gmail address for Nate would be. Any way of finding out?

Haha. Post it, i want to see how close they are.

I doubt this is in game, but it is mental...

I googled Hollowmove - nothing except Unfiction.

I googled Hollow move and there were a few results, but only one with it in the title, and as a phrase. (the rest are just coincidences, Beat Hollow moves up the table, etc.)

here's the link to the one interesting (to me) answer. (Dont get hopes up, I'm 99% sure it's OOG) it is weird as anything though. I sometimes get these sort of non-sequitur emails as spam. Anyone know what this is all about? Some sort of poetry, or something to do with coding? I've no idea.

lol I didn't want to clutter up the application stack for chef, and that's the only position I'd even be able to blag about. The other stuff is just too far over my head.

So what do people think about this copenhagen picture?

Eliza a contributor?
OOG or a location?

I was searching the names of our key players (most had namesakes around the 1800s), and saw this link, showing that someone named Eliza Marks in San Diego gave money to the McCain campaign!

This is probably OOG, but her LinkedIn profile shows her as Republican, and this is in the San Diego area. On the other hand, she's not a legal secretary.

I'm new to ARG, though I followed the AI one for quite a while...do these weird (apparent?) coincidences happen a lot?

Okay okay

So maybe I overreacted on the beer thing (thanks for the support/you should no better). Lesson learned. No more beer at work. But Jay decided there might be a more childish, yet reasonably acceptable way to blow off a little steam in office. We did wait till the Erik and George had left. Getting smarter.

There is not much to transcribe. They were having a chair race and Jay won.
I'll leave the transcript for those who can hear it better than me. Gotta run, talk to you guys later.

well, a good friend, using the correct words on the right, realized that it can be deduced that a community for images is flickr. com, and then using different combinations of knowledge and random for usernames, it finally leads to

http://flickr. com/photos/randomknowledge

with another puzzle and an interesting image...

I know you like puzzles, what do you think Dr. Gough is trying to tell us?

In the meantime, me and my friends will work on the new puzzle.
I didn't send the new puzzle solve, mostly 'cause I couldn't readily tell what it was, and i was too tired to go post hunting.
