looks like as of now we are getting 2 equidistant "artifact location" per OMPH.

Just a heads up, the second equidistant for Boise, could be San Francisco, CA or Las Vegas, NV. Anyone in those areas might want to keep an eye out for updates.

Yes both look good but i have to vote for VEGAS!! Very Happy

At this rate we have half of the Omphali (is that a word?) identified.

Assuming ,of course, the continuation of 2 artifacts per.....

If there a total of 27 pieces to the codex, then there may be three pieces for each of nine omphali.

Good point, Rogi. If we keep going by the two-artifacts-per-omphalos, we'll end up with one omphalos (#14) with just one artifact. Of course, this could lead us to a mysterious chapter 28, and I wouldn't put it past JMcG to have done that ('when you're ready to receive the data, look to Delphi,' ring a bell?). But I like the three theory.

We've got seven so far, three with two recovered (we managed to recover Lunglei's second, then there's Stephenville and Ribnitz-Damgarten), three with one recovered (we scored on New Delhi and Boise as well as the earlier Dongying/Shanghai) and one currently inactive (Porto Alegre). By your theory, that leaves two more omphaloi to be revealed (I'm voting Africa and maybe Australia, maybe Middle East/eastern Europe, maybe Russia).

Makes me wonder: why aren't New Delhi and Boise numbered as Omphaloi? The others are (Stephenville = 1, Ribnitz-Damgarten = 2, Dongying = 3, Lunglei = 4). I was trying to connect them with a path from one to the next (and see if they crossed anywhere) but now I can't because I don't know which one comes first, ND or Boise, or even PA.

Anyway. Right now I think we should be focussing on fully translating chapters 7, 8 and 11. Go team! Razz

Or, maybe it'll lead us to something us entirely. Maybe the lost ring?

Second equidistant location from New Delhi is most likely to be Copenhagen. Could also be near Berlin, Innsbruck, Rome, Kamapala (Uganda), or Antananarivo (Madagascar), assuming it's not in the middle of nowhere in Russia or sub-Saharan Africa.

Actually, it's green.

White just means you didn't get that dot when you refreshed.

Next might be Moscow and Athens.

Hmm. Wasn't Markus captured in Dubai? (Or, if Theo is to be believed, didn't Markus defect there?) We should try to work fast to be ahead of Theo if that does turn out to be an artifact location.
