Why: People sit inside and hide and play meaningless games and try to bury the hell that they feel their life is. Playing for prizes, for amusement or to simply feel elite. At the end, it is just a game.
What if the gamer is challenged with difficulties and no sure promise of a single thing. What if inconsistencies are the norm and hope is a subtle glimmer, maybe even a lie. How will they delude themselves to escape the effort of compassion?
Attack the one with the strings? Maybe. Deny responsibility? Probably.
A good Samaritan is not one who takes responsibility for someone he is indebted to. He takes up the trouble of one he owes no debt to and one who he is programmed to despise and avoid, regardless of his non-obligation to do so.
But the world is sadly lacking in the mould of such as him. And that is the thesis and day by day it is proved.
Selah.

This whole game reminds me of that woman who was raped and stabbed to death in the courtyard of an apartment complex. About 30 people saw or heard what was going on and no one went out there to help or even called the police.
That being said, this is a game! Therefore the results will be inaccurate since we are not really playing for a persons life. I assume the lengths I would go to save someone (even a stranger) would be far greater if that person were not fictional. However, I am still doing as many of the Docs last tasks as I can.

The difference is that if this wasnt a game we would have saved Bex before she was caught. We knew where she was located roughly (Simcoe) and would have notified the authorities who would have located Doc's IP and hauled him away. In fact the game was so believable at that point some people were tempted to do just that. So no matter what Doc does or does not do I feel we won this game a long time ago.

Ya, I won't drive to Simcoe for the game, BUT if it could save a real life I would spend the gas money to do it, but of course I would, any sane person would.

Anyone here acquainted with the University of Florida? Do you think The Swamp classifies as a landmark?

Don't know the University of Florida, but swamps sound like landmarks, hah.

You should be fine. I asked him, and he said so long as you try. Mine is the only outdoor mall we have nearby, which had Speed Racer stuff out front. I think the lake would be a better choice!

Selah is a Christian Band. Although I don't know if that's lyrics to one of their songs, probably is.

Considering that everyone at the University of Miami would like to set it on fire, I'd say yes.... for now...

So, when and where are we supposed to submit our stuff? I e-mailed my picture to hurtstoheal and then remembered him saying that he and BEX would be around to receive our stuff at a certain time. Anyone know what's going on?

UPDATE on the H2H site: all the x's and o's are gone and replaced by a binary template overlaid with numbers.
The image is "holdyourbreath.jpg". If stegged it needs a password and I can not scan the binary underneath on the page.

Over the binary, 2:30 repeats many times, so I think it's the upload time.
