[RING] Weird comment in Diego's blog

Diego advised me about this comment:

Quote:

Can we get a proper Spanish Translation in case there are some nuances here?
Code:
Lola was named my dog and I matè,
Blessed be God and Lola legionnaires
Lola of Spain, which àcil when one has a secret informant, the two ladies for a horse ...
I always liked playing with the black but
excepciòn verifies the golden rule.
I love the white lady as
wants the sea to the rivers.
The flowers and the transfer went pagastes your gift
thanks for you.

Re: [RING] Weird comment in Diego's blog

This is my translation:

Quote:
Lola was the name of my dog (female dog) and i killed it.
Blessed be God and (blessed be) Lola the legionnaire.
Lola from Spain, how easy (is all this) when you have a secret informer, the two "ladys" (the chess queen) for a horse.
I always liked playing with black but the exception verify the golden rule.
I love the white lady! As the sea loves the rivers.
The flowers that you paid and the transfer i was your gift.*1
Thanks for you.
Symphony Nº9 of C/Beetowen

*1 This is not clear even in spanish:
Las flores que pagaste y el traslado fui tu regalo.

I think it means:
-You paid the flowers
-I was the gift you 've received (as a consecuence of the flowers?).

*2

This last part have been written in Euskera (language from the País Vasco http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basque_language).
I'm not an Euskera speaker. There is not Euskera to spanish translator. So, looking in some dictionaries, i 've found:
-ez da: is a negation expression, something like: it's not.
-ludiam: there is no entry for ludiam, but ludi means world, earth.
-oberi: ???
-agur: hello or goodbye.

We need somebody who can read/write euskera.

Yep it doesn't seem to make a sense whatever language it is. I tend to think that there is a code behind those letters. (or it's just plain stupid spam, it happens Wink )

[META]I tend to think Diego must've pointed it out for a reason, no? Wouldn't he just have ignored it if it was spam?

Where in his blog was it, Javier? I looked for it and wasn't able to find it.

I was talking with Diego about the piece of papper we found in the esperanto society

[META] The piece of papper seems to be IG... (Diego ask me for a scan. MaC doesnt find the papper, but he remembers the content). The key data is: Castelli 265 (or 265x), a BA address...

We were talking about the papper, when Diego told me that there was a strange comment in his blog.

I will write Diego telling that the comment is not there anumore...
Kai?

What an odd comment...
Did he tell you what was on the paper?

Also, I found something on someone called Lola Flores from Spain....nothing really stands out except for the fact that her last name means 'flowers'...
as in
Quote:
The flowers that you paid and transferred, I was your gift...
?

Maybe?

I dunno, I think either this guy does not speak Spanish very well, or it is in code, like dreamerblue said...
Unfortunately, codes are not my best thing. I'll run it through a couple of ciphers I know offhand and see if it gives me anything...
EDIT:
Tried Vigenere, Beaufmont (sp?) and vigenere~beaufmont thingy with the keys: theo; diego; ariadne; labyrinth; eli hunt; find the lost ring; trovu la ringon perditan.
Now I really should get to bed. It's quarter to two in the morning where i live...

Ok, some clarifications about the weird comment:

the tilde in the text (like in "matè") are not the spanish ones, but the FRENCH ones. In proper spanish it would be "maté"

there are a lot of grammatical errors in the text:
third line: àcil instead of fácil; caball instead of caballo
6th line: ime instead of me (I guess), that "i" is an exclamation mark "¡", so it is "I love the white queen!"
8th line: this sentence has no sense, unless you change "fui" to "fue", so the whole sentence means: you paid for the flowers and the transfer whas your gift
9th line: I guess it should be "gracias a ti", wich means "thanks to you"

So, my guess is... this was written in english, and then robo-translated to spanish.

About the name "Lola" and "Lola de España":
Lola is a familiar name for Dolores
Lola de España was one of the "nicks" of Lola Flores, a very important artist here who died more than 10 years ago. She was also known as "La faraona" (the female faraon).

I'll investigate a bit more, maybe it's some kind of folk song...

EDIT: ok, second round:
There's a song called "El novio de la muerte" (death's boyfriend, or maybe death's fiancee), now famous among legionnaires wich was first a "cuplé" sung by Lola Montes. So, this Lola Montes could be "la lola legionaria" (legionnaire Lola)

Or perhaps James. After all, someone put that weird last blog post on Markus' blog (the one that says Markus has joined Theo, despite his sending us that "HELP!" message earlier), and as far as we can tell, it wasn't Kai. IIRC, James did help Kai set up the site, so likely has access to everything necessary to delete comments that might interfere with Theo's purposes (or perhaps reveal too much).

Of course, that's assuming the comment really and truly is something we should pay attention to, but I agree, why else would Diego point it out?

I've posted info about this in another thread... i will search for it...

EDIT: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=25535

Tench is right. The message seems wrote by somebody who dont writes in spanish all time.
There is a piece of text in euskera.
If we think the "acento" like french "acento" (sorry, i dont know the translation for this word), we can do a connection. Euskera is a spoken language in Spain and France.
I think that we have to make contact with somebody in France... there migth be TheO memebers in that country.

In that previous thread, you didn't mention anything about "Castelli 265" so where did that come from?

Also, there are pictures?

This is was happened: we (MaC and I) lost the piece of paper Very Happy
If you read the topic about the esperanto society in BA, we tougth that the paper was totally OOG. After a few days... Diego asked me about the papper.
But... we have MaC (or [M]). He has an incredible memory.
This was the content of the papper (MaC will put here more details):

One face: some esperanto words: la verko, Castelli 265/the papper ends here.
The other face: a piece of transparent tape with some "invisible" words: ESPERANTO TIMBRE NUEVO EN PUERTA = ESPERANTO, NEW RINGBELL AT THE DOOR.

I googled Castelli 265X in BA. There is a clothe store in Castelli 265, and there isnt any entry with one more digit after 265.
