I, of course, don't remember signing up for anything. I probably wouldn't think much of it, but I do see that natas' email address is in the "To" field along with a few others I don't recognize (I do wish PMs would stop doing that!).

So I contacted "ilovemopickles" on AIM...

 		Well according to them the old site was "sabotaged" and a new site is in works within the week. They wouldn't give me the details of the old site, but perhaps somebody can probe further.

I played it like I knew something about who this person is, but if someone goes to her saying she knows nothing about Maureen Pickles, maybe some more information can be acquired.

Maureen Pickles is a Children's Book author, famous for her Penelope book line.

She had a deal with a film company called Pinkwood to bring her trilogy to the big screen. Pinkwood pulled out of the deal because of complains from parents that said she was corrupting their children.

Parents are up in arms over her latest book in which Penelope goes on an adventure with a "Pussy".

Maureen is 56 years old.

Maureen had a drinking problem when she was young.

ilovemopickles only has the contact information for Maureen's editor.

Site is coming in a couple of days that has this information.

 		This is probably irrelevant but there is a book called Penelope that was recently made into a movie, but it wasn't a series and it was by a lady named Marilyn Kaye.
