 		Since Kai mentioned Markus' weird post in both his response to me and to mr.judkins, as well as his hope that he hadn't upset Ariadne, I decided to try to chase up those ideas in case he had something more to say. What came out of that was info that the Markus post did indeed come through a hack from Dubai (where we knew Markus was going), but that Kai couldn't get right to the source of it due to firewalling.

Kai replied:I looked into the server logs and it looks like someone actually got around my encryption to post that entry. I tried to trace it back, but it came from Dubai and there's some kind of crazy firewall there which didn't allow me to get any further.

As for anything I might have said to her... I don't think I wrote anything too crazy...I don't know this day is a little out of hand, hopefully she'll surface of her own accord soon and be able to explain where she's been. Or maybe Eli will break his once-per-month contact routine and give us some info.


It's kind of funny because we did suggest here that we wouldn't hear from Eli again until mid-June if he kept up his usual routine, but voilą, he has contacted mr.judkins out of the blue, just as Kai had hoped.
