Are JFAC considered hardcore or something? I'm confused. It stuck out like a big metal thumb in that list for me.

Oh my god! Everything ends in core! Fuck. hahah
Just organizing itunes by genre and I'm ATTEMPTING not to use 'core' but damnnit, some bands just ARE! Almost wanna delete As I Lay Dying just cause I've got nothing else to call em. (And cause they're becoming really boring)ha
As far as JFAC it's just goin in as Metal. Bring me the Horizon too. Fuck this 'core' stuff. haha

And I wanna see The Red Shore take on The Red Chord.
Ouch, my mistake. Two of them are dead? Damn. Distasteful.
(I actually had no idea they were dead when I started writing this).

I wouldn't call tdwp hardcore by any means. I consider them metalcore. I am pretty strict when it comes to hardcore, just because of all the little teenie boppers seem to call everything with screaming hardcore.
Only bands like madball and hatebreed get the term 'hardcore' to me. But hell, screw the genres, it's all great music right?
Btw, as blood runs black >>>>>>>>>> all

This conversations gettin to be too much for me.
suckaH's right, all just music.
Metalcore is SUCH a dumb term. 'Core' used to be added to other words to imply they incorporate metal, like when nu-metal started happneing people were calling it rap-core, to imply that it's rapping over top of metal riffs. Adding core to metal just seems stupid. It's already 'core' in itself.
Fuckin' Killswitch Engage. They started that bullshit term. Man I used to love them before that bald singer came in.
And not to be condescending, but you guys are high school kids right?

To jarsofsap: sadly, no i'm not a high schooler. Not nearly an adult either. I'm a 9 near old trapped in a college graduate's body.

gotcha, same. hahah. except maybe i'm a 10 yr old. i dunno.
This convo just started to seem very high school banter.
"THIS BNAD IS DA BEST! SCREAM-VERSE/SING-CHORUS 4 LIFE!"
maybe it's just forum etiquette i'm still not familiar with.
haha, that's not bad. I'd love a band to take the name 'Scream Verse-Sing Chorus'. haha. kinda take a shot at all these As I Lay Dying's that are everywhere now.

Not over 25. Not by a longshot.
Btw, when you work at an internet business and there is absolutely NOTHING to do, posting on a forum while listening to your iPod is about the only damn thing that keeps you sane. I think 90% of my posts fall under this list. The other 10% was summer time (when the living's easy).

thought so, I knew SOMEONE in here was around 15. hah
I'd like to defend my loserdom by making known that i come on here from work on the nightshift since there's NOTHING to do for 8 hours and most sites are blocked. And i'm only 23. I'm hoping i'll laugh at this stuff by 25. haha.
And there's nothing wrong with shooting the shit about metal. Haven't actually been to the real Cloverfield forum in probably 2-3 days now. Nothing interesting goin on.
