 		I think the server is just lagged out. It stuck at "Communicating..." for a long time this morning.

 		Yeh, I was having problems all morning in both IE and FF with it just sitting there saying communicating...

Finally managed to log in about 15 mins ago.

I was 206th through Chapter 1.

[edit] - I didn't get told either. (Hotmail address added on the 10th May.)
Found the page through a teaser banner on http://carlzimmer.typepad.com/sciencetattoo/

I played through puzzles 1-3 before it timed out and wouldn't let me back in until 15 mins before that post.

triangle in leo matches with one on triangle mystery page
the triangle in the leo constellation look exaclty like the one on the wall behing the floating object. u should check it out. seems more likely than the summer triangle.

I played through the first part with no problem, but now I can't login or sucessfully reset my password either. I sent a reply back to the temp password email address explaining the problem and asking for help. I'll let you know if I get a reply.

 		Same thing happened to me, i just created a new account tonight. It looks like they fixed the problem with the emails. they just took that entire part of the registration process out. made my life a lot easier. yeah i had to solve the puzzles again but no black blank screen this time around at least.

So here is a question.....when Chapter 2 launches do we all start back at 0 in rankings at a level playing field? Are the rankings for each chapter just bragging rights?

What?
I don't think that the current rankings are cumulative.
It's just that the first person through the first puzzle has a better chance at solving the second puzzle first than the 500th person who logs in 2 days later...

Just spoke with the Doritos route driver about the chips and he said he only had 5 bags for his whole route. In random bins on the truck... so it looks to me like we night want to hang onto the bags and chuck the chips after a few tasted.
] Why would they be rationing the bags of chips?

CRAP...i had the strip and the Gotham bag but tossed them after we figured out those codes. Now i have go back out and buy 3 more bags. You are probably right we are probably going to need the bags later in the game if they are rationing them out.

 		Haven't been home for a bit, but wanted to add:
I too was mysteriously not told.
Puzzle 1- 15th
Puzzle 2- 10th
Puzzle 3- 10th
Puzzle 4- 13th
Puzzle 5- 8th
Although I can't take any credit for the PASCAL puzzle. I totally bit off on the Pascal's triangle route.
And finally having to complete the two Rubik's circles puzzle four times before it completed is totally UNSAT.

 		2 cirlce puzzle solution step by step
ok so out of sympathy for everyone stuck on the 2 circle puzzle (puzzle 4) see below:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):


right toggle:
move up 3 times

left toggle:
move up 3 times

Right toggle:
Down 2 times

left toggle:
up 3 times

Right toggle:
down 1 time

left toggle:
up 3 times

right toggle:
up 1 time

left toggle:
up 3 times

then move the red section into the middle then move the left toggle back and forth once (for some reason it only locks into place for a COMPLETED when you move the black section)
