@Blake. That's not a very good idea to post Y-1s internal stuff with people outside of it. I made the same mistake a few months back. If I were you I'd take it down ASAP. It might kill your chances of getting in. PM me if you want to bs about Y-1

When a confirmed agent registers, they are added to a specific group within the forum, in which the administrator can set certain forums and topic to be viewable by only that group. They have done this with the whole forum. Also, it's pointless to register on the forum if you're not taking part - if you don't post with your account often, it'll be deleted in a few weeks.

(Sorry, double-posting because anonymous doesn't allow for post editing)

Also, Blake, everyone gets that when e-mailing them. If you fill it out and send it back in, you're added to a roster for possible future agents. Most recruiting is done for this phase. Though, if you do enough poking around persistently, you'll probably get in. They're being very sloppy with their work.

By the looks of it, things are mostly going as planned for them - not too large of a crowd to handle "internally," not that being on the inside makes you less clueless this early, but it's a large enough size that if everyone is creative, it's large enough to become just as enigmatic and talked about as the NCI.

I'm still wondering if they (Nautonier) had planned Y1 to be like this from the beginning, or if it came as an afterthought. After them being the "elite" during Neurocam.

*shrugs* Ce la vie.

It does seem to be going according to plan doesnt it?

Funny thing about Y1 is, they seem to know the score, and they're going ahead anyway. Why?

At one point the product was there (At least in it's early stages). But we didnt know about it because that was in Australia and New Zealand back in the early 2000's.

They they used the viral approach and that is when you heard about it back during what is called Phase II.

They put so much effort (or so it seems) into viral tactics, that the product diminished and for one reason or another, it was gone. Some might argue and say it's just immobile or quiet. But it seems pretty gone. But hey, someone still is paying for the site I guess.

Now Y1 is here in force, Neurocam's old friend and foe. But they dont seem to care about us applicants too much do they? Unless you're A local, but what's that? Those 10 cities they had on their site a few months back? Is there more to it?

Look at the site. They've recruited, they are sychronizing (whatever that means), they are branding themselves with tatoos, talking about enlightenment and change, spying on fenced facilities... Need I say more?!

I dont have a theory on their link to Nautonier but i have not been able to put this thing away since i read about it almost 2 weeks ago.

I've seen connections with neurocam and Nautonier, between neurocam and Yellow 1, but so far nothing between yellow 1 and nautonier. nothing believable anyway.

From what I've read and considering recent events, I'd say that Y1 and Unfiction are in agreeance about 1 thing. This is no ARG. This seems serious and unlike neurocam with a far more aggressive nature. I think I'm in love. What's that email address?!?!?!?!?!

Its well worth asking Yellow One about their relationship with Neurocam and Nautonnier. The answer may not be factually very useful, but its pretty interesting in other ways.

They care greatly about their applicants - the ones that show they are useful. The first few are just about finished (if not completely) with their training missions, and the more serious stuff is to follow. Location does play a role, but it's not shown it's necessity in training - plus they let those from more rural areas join, I hear.

Back in the earlier phases of Neurocam, there was a document - I'm not for sure of it's origins or purpose - but it named Yellow One as a group also controlled by the Nautonier. It's really no question of it, if you believe Hely. He has said that they control Yellow One, Neurocam AND Fiat Nox (much to Simon Moon's objection, I hear).

The problem is, there is no way of telling if this is said Yellow One. There have been poser organizations taking the names of one another in the past, with FN and others - heh - who's to say that this isn't one of them?

Heck, on the inside of it all, when Yellow One just became active again, there was questioning from the inside whether it was legit or not. No one would give an answer, and I do remember that things were pretty "hush hush, don't question this" on the inside. But, if you believe J, things got settled down on the inside.

Heck, if anyone actually understands this post, then good on you. You've been following for either longer or just as long as I have.

People really need to learn to cover their tracks better, myself included.

I feel that a discussion of Yellow One does not belong on Unfiction, for it is neither an 'ARG' nor a 'Time Waster'.

For those of whom may be interested, I would highly recommend bringing
questions or comments to the discussion board at http://forum.yellow-1.org

As mentioned earlier in this thread, sections of the forum are closed to those

while its all and good you directing to the official forums, going there won't get you anything. not even good discussion on it. it's moderated by them, giving them complete control over what's said and not, and forgive me if this sounds blunt, but unless you can prove beyond a doubt that it's not a timewaster, then it's whoever's say whether they think it is or not.

and besides, description of the forum says that this is for the "mini games, puzzles, and addictive non-ARGs that help us pass the time"
and being that it's addictive, and not an arg, i'd say that it's fine for those who want to discuss it here.

not all previous members of neurocam are allowed on the official yellow 1 boards, by the way.

Your argument did change my perspective a bit, so +1 olp-op 0 me.

Good call on 'mini games, puzzles, and addictive non-ARGs', along with
"giving them complete control over what's said and not".
Their forum is away to directly interact with the members who decide to
post within the public area, to have any questions answered, or to
promote your interest to those who are involved.

That is true. Neurocam and Y1 are different entities, different bodies.

Everyone is definitely entitled to their opinion on this subject.
Its meaning, value, and purpose may be different for each person, as well.

Olp-op - Don't you find it funny how people complain about things but don't do anything about changing it? Wink

How do you know that not all old members of Neurocam aren't allowed on the Y1 boards?

Were you told especially not to go there or do you just think that?
Tell us some details and we MIGHT believe you! Smile
If its true you must have caused a lot of trouble. We want to hear the details Twisted Evil
What was your former op name? Neurocam is dead isnt it so what is the harm in telling?

When I registered with the Y1 forum I noticed that it hasn't been running that long. So yeah there aren't going to be a ton of threads to please everyone. When unforum first started up it was probably a little slow too. Makes sense really.

Stream - I think people should be free to talk about Y1 wherever they want. This is as good a place as any, but I think people ARE more likely to get tidbits of info from those higher up on the Y1 forum as I think they are more likely to read questions on that forum. Smile
