Godspeed You! Black Emperor, anyone? It seems like anyone who's into the whole progressive, spacious metal thing would appreciate them.
I've seen the name but never heard. Is it heavy, or more Dream Theater-like? Prog Metal tends to get all fucked up when the singer isn't up to par.
No singer. There's sometimes vocal tracks. "F# A# Infinity" has a whole narration and story.
It's really not metal-y. It does get pretty heavy at times, distorted guitars and whatnot, but there's a lot of strings. It's very orchestral, very epic. (usually called "Avant-Garde Post-Rock" or something stupid like that) Their records are usually two or three songs, each being around twenty minutes long. I would recommend "Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven" to see if you like them. I'd post a link to a torrent if you wanted to check it out, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't fly under the rules.
Do the mods even come here, though?

Naw, but their album's free over at a site called (i think) 8bitpeoples. It's just an EP. Called 'Pioneer'. No singer. It's catchy in a real fucked up way. haha.
