Equation - Sacred Myths
Equation

Has anyone solved the Equation?

It has been a long time - can somone post a solution or a very serious clue?

It has been months and I'm at a dead end.

The photo's are nice, but explain NOTHING.. how does assembling the puzzle explain anything??? The assembled puzzle pictures sure don't look like anything useful. I can jam pieces into the square too, but jamming them in means nothing unless you can EXPLAIN the solution.

Try to be a little less harsh next time. Sheesh.

OK, I see that this thread has been going on since last year. I have finally decided to purchase the first 3 puzzles. I purchased them from PowScience in the US which seemed to have the lowest prices AND a discount code. Woo Hoo! I made the purchase online yesterday and I hope to get them before my birthday next Friday.

Anyway, I was wondering about the online password submission. I see that there are only password entry boxes for the first 3 puzzles. What exactly does this mean?

Is the Pyramid going to be released this fall? Has anyone tried contacting familygamesamerica for a release date?

explain?
The Equation

I posted pictures of solutions. Mine looked like a negative 7. (-7)
I've seen other pictures of solutions.
I've posted numerious wild ideas.
But I don't understand the puzzle.
The only scroll was at the bottom of the box.
I can not get the password.

Can someone just post a description/explanation of the answer and the password and we will chalk this up to a lost cause and move on the puzzle #3? Please!

Carta Blanca
Carta Blanca

Can someone tell me how to solve Carta Blanca? I can hear what is going on inside of it but cannot make sense of it!
Thanks in advance!

The Equation
Password

Although I have not solved the password, I can say where I am in solving it.

The beginning for one ant the end for another -
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
may have something to do with Galileo's death and Sir Isaac Newton's birth (1643), however this is not the password. Also the Heliocentric Model was the end of the Geocentric Model.

The telescopic vision is not as it appears -
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I translate this to mean the heavens are not as they appear. This may have something to do with the geocentric and heliocentric models of the solar system. To the naked eye, it would appear that the heavens revolve around the earth. But when the heavens are viewed through a telescope, this is not the case. However these are not the passwords.

The theory is out, but the equation will bring you full circle -
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I have tried every mathmatical term dealing with circles (ie. infinty, pi, 3.141 and so on). These are not the passwords.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Galileo and Sir Isaac Newton both had more to do with the Heliocentric model than the Geocentric model. Galileo was the first to push The Heliocentric model while Kepler expounded upon it, and Sir Isaac Newton proved most of Keplers theories with his theory of gravity. Galileo alone had more to do with the end of the Geocentric model supported by Aristotle, and Ptolemy than Sir Isaac Newton.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
When all three clues are taken together, it would seem they would have something to do with orbits and ellipses, still not the passwords.

Equation

Hi all,

Woo, I've managed to fit the equation together, very satisfying Smile But... now what?

I have a 'scroll' like the Da Vinci one that was in the bottom of the box so I don't have to open anything.

I've got a piece from Da Vinci but I don't see how it helps...

Am I missing something with this puzzle or is that it? I just have to put it together and go 'Oh how pretty'? Smile

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
This puzzle has a wooden piece that moves into a notch into the piece that slides. You need to move the wooden piece correctly out of the way if order for you to open.

Let me know if you need more help.

Carta Blanca

I left the puzzle with my wife for a short period of time and came back to find her trying to dismantle it. She was attacking the puzzle through the holes on the bottom with some stiff wire and it was making some very strange springy / metallic noises.

I'm afraid that she might have broken the puzzle, but upon listening to it, it still sounds like pieces are sliding and shifting inside. To those who have solved the puzzle, what do you think the chances are that she might have moved the pieces inside to an unsolvable state, or otherwise broken it in some way?
