yeah, i definitely see what you are saying. that is kind'f strange.

i know this probably means nothing, but i did notice that the toy has some superficial injuries on it. maybe the monster is just very thick skinned? i mean, i know that goes without saying...

but take, like, a pill bug. if another bug is trying to eat it, it rolls into a ball, and becomes nigh invulnerable. but, catch it off guard, and it's perfectly vulnerable.

maybe clover has some anatomical defense kind'f like that? one that isn't as obvious, but...... maybe the monster, being caught so off guard by the emotions it was feeling from kishin, allowed it's "defences" to be lowered? i dunno.

We're living in dangerous times, when monster attacks are becoming as frequent as other natural disasters like earthquakes, hurricanes, and wildfires...so don't allow your nation's military be left without an Anti-Monster Ambush attack system! Easily deployable within hours of first word of a monster approaching. Available at Costco.

Although the literal-style translation is a bit abrasive for my tastes, I do respect the effort. Keep up the good work Kos.

Well, this MGP has been attacking japan for 3 chapters in a row... that or they have a system in place because of Godzilla. Very Happy

I think MGP begins to break down at the end because he descends into the ocean too quickly. I remember reading that deep sea life descends at certain speeds so their bodies can become accustomed to the pressure at a certain rate. That way they can adjust to different levels of pressure instead of not being able to exist at a different pressure than normal.

Maybe he was just in a rush and he breaks down because of that.
