 		[INFO] Summary of theories for the Aug. 10th Update
Sorry if this sucks. I will edit any suggestion you guys have, but I thought this would help for tomorrow so that we can jump right into things. Also, being a newbie to all of this myself, I thought this would help others who might be confused get up to speed a little more quickly.

First, if you haven't done it yet, read this

1. The Coordinates Puzzle

Major Thread

Theories:
a) The coordinates are locations near chinese restaurants. The AI is confused and is seeking Dana, who we know to be in China, by searching all areas in America that have to do with China. Theory was popular earlier today, seems to have fallen out of favor recently.

b) The coordinates are meant to be plotted and the dots then connected to render some type of pattern or message. A "unicorn" has been traced. Theory is still in favor and has yet to have been really explored fully.

c) The coordinates are located near libraries or "information centers." Several locations are located in fields or otherwise removed from any libraries.

d) The coordinates are meant to be grouped. Libraries composing a category, National Monuments another, Empty Parking Lots or fields, yet another category. Theory still has yet to be explored completely.

e) Coordinates are meant to be plotted reversing the longitude. This places all the coordinates in or near China. Theory seems to be merely a side effect of China's location on the opposite side of the world from USA.

2. The Spider and Pious Flea

Major Thread

a) Spider has been shredding the memory of the Operator, otherwise known as Melissa, in an effort to repair the damage suffered in the crash. Flea appears to be eluding the SPDR and repairing a memory fragment known as Truth. An amusing game of cat and mouse (or hide and seek) appears to be taking place, with the Flea currently maintaining the upper hand. This seems to have been SOLVED, credit goes to Shad0, will_bushman, and Speaker.

b) The flea, succesful in his efforts, appears to have recovered these memories for Melissa.

c) The wikki (???) for this theory is found here

3. The Embedded Sound Files

Major Thread

a) Embedded sounds can be found by checking the source code here: http://www.ilovebees.com/comatas.html. There are up to four different .wav files to be found. The current theory is that this is Melissa trying to create her "voice".

b) The file known as "changling-child.wav" quite clearly says "Connection" when played in reverse. No real theory as to why, believed to may be the PM's just throwing us a bone.

Embarassed MAJOR MAJOR co-credit to will_bushman, Speaker, and jellyfish_green, as well as anyone else who helped find the code snippets. Wiki page is here. The two new Melissa memory fragments, which were our "reward" for solving this, are here.

 		On the coordinates puzzle, I thought some people (myslef included Wink had posited that it's simply coordinates of attack that Melissa is unwittingly gathering for her enemy.

( see how I got through that without a single Halo reference? Wink )

 		Don't forget the oft-posted Phase 3 Text and assembled into Phase 3 Monologue.

Plus the dmg pages are archives of the previous corruption - not new material.

 		before halo 2?
this all could be just a prologue to the halo 2 story on how the covenent found earth the gueen or spider is the ships AI unit. And the flea could be a covenent "hacker" and the hidden message is "earth" and on aug 24th flea will crack the code and find earth. then mabey it will take them 77 days to get here and the gueen/spider is tring to warn us?
