[SPEC] Urban Hunt website update

So in reading the information in the interaction forum, it appears there is to be an update to the Urban Hunt website today and a forthcoming update to the Tomorrow's Talk website, as well.

In perusing the Urban Hunt website and viewing source code, I found the following first line:
Code:
<html><!-- InstanceBegin template="/Templates/uhpagelayout.dwt" codeOutsideHTMLIsLocked="false" -->

I don't remember this line being there before. OutsideHTML, huh? I seem to recall the UrbanMythology.net website mentioning outside.html as the website that drove people crazy.

On a hunch, I checked both the Urban Hunt and Tomorrow's Talk websites for the page outside.html, as in the thread nobody stated they had done so.

Guess what? Both sites have existing "outside.html" pages. Neither of them have any information on them as of yet; the entire source code consists of the following:
Code:
<html><body></body></html>

So, at this point, I guess the question is who created these pages? Was it our new buddy Ron, or did the mysterious "Ed" create these pages?

Trout Actually, the default 404 (page missing) error page is "<body><html></html><body>" on both websites. Try any random webpage on either site to see... I don't think this means anything. (Not yet, at least)

search for "code OutsideHTMLIsLocked" in google.

it's a tag used by Dreamweaver, apparently.

this is probably a coincidence.

The codeOutsideHTMLIsLocked is "tag" for DreamWeaver. That exact code snipet is found here so I wouldn't be too concerned with it.

That bit of HTML is how they do a "404" (ie page not found) error. It'll come up at www.tomorrowstalk.com/wmdarehere.html

Good spec'ing though.

Should we be worried that the Urban Hunt site hasn't been updated yet? Ron said it would probably be done today.

Verin, get an email from him?

If not, that and the fact the sites have no tbeen updated is bad.

Maybe KONA, you can call the office and ask for him again?

I haven't gotten one from him today, but it was my turn to write back. I just sent something off to him, so hopefully he'll respond.

Yeah, it seems that Kona can always get info from Ron for some reason. Laughing
