Damn skippy. Though i'm really big on Pretty Hate Machine too. It's a bit 80's for some people I guess, but it still deserves a spot in my Best-Of list. And most of With Teeth was amazing, with the radio songs being just 'pretty good'. 2 newest albums are great too. Just so different.

Now, the bands who make a big deal of how they look to feel cool, yeah, that's gay.

Which is exactly what norma scene the chariot do. Hell, they both did spots in revolver on what they wear and where they bought it (90% of it being hot topic, no big surprise there).

Where should they buy their clothes? and a lot of other bands have done the same thing in revolver

ya man. a bunch of people get in that clothing page thing. i think it's fuckin dumb, but it's only one page out of many more excellent ones. don't mind so much, i just flip past it. And it's not like norma jean ran screaming to revolver to cover what they wear, i'm sure revolver asked them and that was it. clothing does not matter as long as the music's good. if your music's shit and you're whole angle is image THEN you're gay. hahah.

my beef with revolver is the cover stories. bullet for my valentine dressed up like Back to the Future cause some douche thinks they're the future of metal? eat my balls. Those guys with burn to the ground when their 13 yr old female fanbase grows out of em. You ever read those letters sent in by the little girls? "thank you revolver so much for putting bfmv on the cover. they're uber-cool. and so cute". shit like that. THAT'S NOT METAL! save it for teen beat.

I dunno, before i even heard one piece of either of their music, their image screamed "fagg0l!" I mean, especially the singer of the chariot...holy hell. Then i heard their music, and it was the worst noise i've ever heard.
They played at ozzfest two years ago. Luckily i was off getting shit signed by all that remains, so i was too many conversing with an actual good band to have to deal with their shit.

I do like PHM, but not as much as some of the other NIN releases.

Anybody? Panda Bear? Or Animal Collective?

Both of those bands are good
I still need to get the newest Animal Collective album

Strawberry Jam? Or the new EP, Water Curses? They're both magnificent.

And yeah, I enjoy Death Cab as well. I got the new album when it leaked a few weeks ago, it's fantastic. It's actually out now, right?

In other news, the new Opeth album leaked. The proggy, the acoustic, and the fake-flute-ey shit needs to go. But otherwise it's a fun record.

A few years back I lost interest in all of the 'Scream-o' stuff, and metal-core junk. I can't believe that people still listen to that band Atreau.
I listen to bands like The queers, Screeching Weasel (and some other pop punk stuff) Older (70's/80's) punk, NYHC, The Dead Milkmen (my favorite band,), and things of that nature.
I think eventually kids are going to start saying that they listen to old school punk, when they are talking about Blink 182 (guilty pleasure), Green Day, and Good Charlette. This new era of shitty psuedo-punk/emo is horrible. What's the deal with Fall Out Boy? What's the deal with the other band that sounds exactly like Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco?
Ah, It is wonderful. I turned in to one of those guys who still listens to the same music he has listened to for 15 or 20 years and complains about kids and their new-fangled rock and roll.

I'm a LOVING new Opeth. Took a few listens to become fully lodged in my brain, but it's soooooo damn good once it settles in your head. It already feels like one of their classic albums, just like Ghost Reveries did about a week after it's release.

Can't wait till the real thing comes out so I can get the bonus disc with the Alice in Chains cover. Opeth covering AiC is like crapping-my-pants excitement for me. hahaha

How on earth can you rag on kids for listening to metal-core stuff when you listen to Blink? (I understand nostalgia is a hard thing to snuff. I'm still listening to some stuff from when I was a kid that I KNOW is shit. haha)

And ya, all those Fallout Boy type bands are just so awful. I stopped listening to radio all together thanks to that indie-emo trend. Mind you I'm happy that radio isn't plundering wannabee-metal anymore, but still. These poor kids are taught that THIS is good? Panic at the Disco and all their feathered haired friends can eat a dick. What kind of eye liner you wearing this week boys? Atreyu... hhahaha. That's all I've gotta say about them.
