Works for me. Here's a recording of the call for those who can't or don't want to call.

hmm, sounds like it was edited together badly, also, there is weird buzzing sounds through part of it. anyone looking into those?

I think in my transcript I mentioned how there was a skip in the vid - I guess I was right when I said there might be more O.o

Fast morse code comes to mid, but I've heard similar sounds coming from my speakers at school. Maybe just interference?

sounds like what goes through my speakers when my cell phone is too close to them and about to ring...

also, i think there is some sort of continuous background noise, but im not sure if it means anything

Here is my transcript of the voicemail recording. It should be verified for accuracy. I tried to indicate with slashes where the obvious breaks in the recording are, but I don't guarantee that I caught all of them..

Perhaps we need to rearrange the clips to get something that makes sense? They don't seem to be in the right order now.

I agree, and will get started on that right away.

Good idea!

It would explain the bad editing at the very least....

Here is my stab at the rearrange

ohh, and i just finished...

here's what i got, similar, its only slightly different (after some intense re-listening, i changed a few words)

wrote:
Science only describes, through their laws, nature- nature has the last word. Well, I never presume too much, I assume in science what is known to be impossible or not possible, is always subject to change. After all, scientific laws, they're not really laws, they're not the last word. Nature's last word may often surprise us so I've made it a goal in my life to define those areas where people want something to happen but think that it is impossible, and then I try to figure out how to do it and just often enough I've managed to do precisely that. For the last several years I've been focusing on holography and how we can extend the boundaries of holography. Up to this point we've known that we can create real images of objects virtually, that you could see.

General idea is the same

The syntax of the sentences work, but the last part doesn't really make sense. How is he managing to extend the boundaries of holography if he did something that everyone knew was possible (make visual holographs)?

We know he actually managed to make holographs that you could also feel.... but I don't see another way to arrange the words to get that meaning out of it. Maybe he continued on to say how he's managed to make holographs that can touch/move things?

You're order makes sense if it's only a section of what he said.

Nice work! It looks right to me... too bad it doesn't seem to have much new in it. Unless there's a hidden message in it now that we put it in the right order? Perhaps something to do with the last word?

EDIT: Removed double post! Sorry!

he might have meant, we've known we can make holograms, but haven't actually done so, afaik noones really made a working hologram, i could be wrong though.

just saw this the other day.. (it might still be that projected on mist sorta thing, not on thin air...)

http://www.engadget.com/2008/02/01/sony-unleashes-a-holographic-monster-on-tokyo-bay/

never-the-less, i still want one for a car alarm...

i think you still need to project onto something with our current technology, so... no star wars holograms yet... Sad

So part of this seems to be standard Gough-speak, given that there are some similarities between part of this recording and the earlier video interview we've seen:

phone recording wrote:
so I've made it a goal in my life / (to) define those areas where people want something to happen but think that it is impossible, and then I try- / to figure out how to do it and-

interview wrote:
So I've made it a goal in my life to find those areas where people want to do things that are said to be impossible and trying to do them.

These are close enough that these are possibly just transcription errors. Alternatively, maybe Gough was coerced into saying these things or maybe the video was faked or maybe he's just really unoriginal...

Is it possible that this recording (hidden by Dr G and clues left for someone - like us - to find) was spliced up on purpose?
Maybe the first letters or words from each segment?
