[VIDEO] Larissa: About Ariadne's Visions

http://dotsub.com/films/sobreasvisesdaariadne
I couldn't add the captions to the video itself...dotsub seems to hate me.

Translation:

- Hi guys.
- Ariadne is bummed about her labyrinth visions.
- Did you watch the video?
- She did the labyrinth over and over, and it seems that it caused a quick change on the graphic, which might have destroyed the periphercal worlds.
- And she's very sad for causing the destruction.
- Looks like there's more about the omphalos' vision than we even imagine.
- Maybe that's why Theo doesn't want us to do the synchronization?
- Maybe is he right?
- I wonder if Renata also became obsessed about her own visions...
- Maybe he found out how the synchronization can harmful, and because of that, she supposedly joined Theo. And also kept me away from all of it.
- I remember that she wanted to find her home more than anyhing in the world.
- I guess that there's something missing...some crucial information that we're not aware of yet.
- We gotta find out how to balance the personal labyrinths and worlds synchronization, in order to avoid more catastrophes.
- But now, we have to help Ariadne understand that, whatever it is that she caused, it was an accident.
- I believe that no one can blame her for wanting to know the truth, and to go back to her family.
- And furthermore, the Agonothetais in other worlds, where the Lost Sport is not lost could know...the best of 'em.
- After all, why would they keep sending the athletes to this world, knowing that there's a chance of the athletes themselves could end up destryoing the multiverse?

Re: [VIDEO] Larissa: About Ariadne's Visions

Is there some conflicts between the central worlds and the fringe worlds?

Noriko also put a similar video on her blog, but for a while I don't have time enough to make transcription / translation ....

i guess the fringe worlds are the ones located nearest the "Upper Limit" of reality, but that's only a guess. Smile

From Chapter 14:
(...)This is a carefully balanced act, and it does not always seem to succeed. In fact, human civilizations across the multiverse apparently put the multiverse at risk due to reaching the upper limit.

Well, actually synchronization IS destroying worlds. But not in the apocalyptic way.

By synchronizing, worlds "merge" together (actually they become exactly equal and so merge into a unique world)

So let's say, you got a world where someone is dead and another where the same one is alive.

When these 2 worlds are about to merge by mean of synchronization, when they're nearly exactly equal, that someone can't be both dead and alive. So for the merge to happen, his life must end (or a miracle must happen)

So when these 2 worlds become one, that guy, who might be your best friend or part of your family, is no more and that's why you could think synchronization is harmful i guess.

Just one remark

Regarding the codex there is nowhere written, as far as I have seen now, that Personal Labyrinths could reduce the number of worlds at all or lead to some merging.
If I am wrong please quote the codex text passage which states that it s possible.

Well... at the very least, a personnal labyrinth makes you partly synchronize with your parallel selves, and so make your world and your parallel selves ones partly synchronizing too.

It's a very little synchronization but still it could have an impact on the worlds merging.
