 		Well I've read the first couple of books from the Sword of Truth series and this doesn't fit with the storyline. If I remember correctly Wizards First Rule doesn't have anything to do with magic schools. In fact, I think it's supposed to take place so long ago that the academy would be way too modern. There's lots of walking and traveling ala LOTR. However I would welcome being wrong because I remember really liking the books. I didn't read them all, but the ones I did were good.

I read all the Sword of Truth books (Wizard's First Rule is first of uh...many...) and I can pretty much guarantee this is not related. I can see this being related to an mmorpg though.

I am at work so I can not investigate much.

Update: from what I can tell it is just an online game. not exactly what I am looking for in an ARG. If anyone finds out something different, I may continue, but for now I will look for something else to work on.

 		yeah, it looks like what runescape would look like if it had been ported to the Nintendo 64... somehow I feel jipped Sad

Yeah, I got the email. The site looks very... little-kid-ish to me. I enjoy darker ARGs (which this does not appear to be at all, hrmph) and games in general. Much more compelling than "I'm GLENDA! The Good Witch of the North!!!" with sparkles and sprinkles and kittens and happiness.

 		I got the same email. Sad. I was hoping it was an arg. The graphics look like a cross between Runescape and WoW to me.

I couldn't play even if I wanted to though because it excludes us Mac people.

Lame.
