The Omphaputer is down Passer-by point me that there is no more globe on the omphaputer... and actually, the whole omphaputer seems down.
Nothing is working anymore in the command prompt.

(meta)Since everything is back to normal, I suggest that Khaos and I just experienced an update.
I wonder whether the ancient greeks have updated to IPv6, though.(/meta)

well don't take my word as final, but I noticed the problems, and the changed content was just errors - so it seems the site did just go down. When it was back up, the urls I'm tracking showed the same content as before the downtime. *shrug*
The latest update I've got is from the 19th, which I believe had some changes already noted: artifacts labelled recovered (and qazvin still pending), and some people I believe thought they noticed a change in the dots?
But nothing new since the downtime as far as I can tell.

thebruce, have you ever decompiled the omphaputer swf, or know if someone did?

just check your temporary internet files (browser cache or whatever your browser calls it )
I have a script that periodically checks known urls for changes (headers/content/etc) and if it detects a change, it txt's my cell =), and it keeps a history for comparison. tracking a few args/websites that way. There's an rss feed for it here . it also catches some server errors and whatnot, so not every update is actually an update.

Be careful with what you might find.. decompiling swf in ARGs is like opening pandora's box.
edit:
It's more likely that the PMs hid the sensitive data on a separate file. But anyway, I also take a peek sometimes.. Yay greek mythology reference!
