it's late, so i'm not sure of dates right now. maybe ganu had one? i dunno.

the whole "primary evidence" thing is weird. either it was SBN, or the pod, or the pod IN some SBN... we already determined that the pod is itty-bitty. like, fingernail-sized small.

i wish that we knew what the hell the pods are. eggs? something else? bah.

it just seems so strange to introduce something like that, give it a very vague name, and then just leave it at that.

and i'm still not so sure that the pod itself killed the monster. something that exists at the bottom of the deepest parts of the ocean shouldn't be able to surface and walk around on land. the evolution of organisms at the bottom of the sea are designed to exists in those extreme pressures. take that pressure away and they go "pop".

we gotta wait on the translation, but i'm with the camp the believes that clover's eye-injury caused him to retreat. and that he was depressurizing.

but that is an interesting thought. it was only concerned with retrieving the pod, and returning it to the weird mass of sacs on the seabed...

Damn it, this always happens to me. Im on here all the time and nothing happens, but i leave for a few days , and all hell breaks loose. But i do agree, these theories do seem to carry alot of salt. I especially like the whole Jamie waking up in a dazed state and that affecting MGP. On the other hand, if it was Hud that somehow had it, that would explain alot too. Thats the one thing thats been bothering me ever since i saw the film the first time. Why the parasites attacked the others, but tried to take him. The mystery deepens my friends. Gotta love that JJ, and Drew, and Reeves........i could go on forever , but ill stop

Guys, Jamie already caused so many people's heads to freakin explode, just by listening to her blather on about all the crazy bullshit that she had goin on in her head, in those god damn videos. Can we put the possibility that she actually had a larger role in this than that to freakin bed please? Even the thought of that crazy bitch controlling MGP is makin me freakin nauseaus.

I agree with K1Ng5p4d3. Perhaps Jamie's purpose was to introduce Teddy Hanssen's character and provide hints as to what happened to him (i.e. the message he delivers to her which introduces more characters like Randy). It could be that we're reading into her character a little too much. To me, she's like a stepping stone for bigger things like Teddy, the Chuai incident, seabed nectar, etc...

She's just a regular person caught in the middle of a big mess and her videos show us (or atleast direct us to) the big mess. Just my two cents!

a) It would explain why the NY monster seemed so disorientated, Jamie being all drunk and stuff... Maybe Jamie shared the contents of the package with Hud? Maybe the bag was full of controller pods (that would explain the monster to be disorientated to...).

b) Anyone thought about the possibility Jamies videos are "coded", secret messages for teddy? (seems far-fetched to me).
