So this one pretty much confirms that MGP's smaller hands are in fact tubes. Now the question is what does he use them for.

After rereading the comic, I want to see Clover run on film. I want to see him charging towards a skyscraper and people looking out helplessly as they know they can't get out of the way.

Kinda like an alpha clover. every animal thats stays in packs has one dominate , usually male, animal that acts as leader and physically changes in size and other ways after asumming the role. Watch dogs, especially agressive breeds, like pits, you always get and alpha dog. the leader of the pack. Lions, bears,. most predators have alpha status of some kind and a heiarchy sythem of some sort. So why should the largest predator of all be any different?
