They have already locked the "vote/poll" thread. I dont understand why we couldnt have 3 solid threads light, dark, and middleground. Unless we are supposed to work together and they are forcing us to do this. Otherwise all of our stuff is going to wind up jumbled together....bummer

I predict that in a day or so, when this single thread hits 40 pages, and someone new comes in asking a question, we'll add anoher 4 pages of replies bitching at them to read thru all the bullshit irrelevant chatter to catch up and discover only 3 posts about the actual game.

Whatever, I think they had some other agenda on this one but no sweat...

I did that - I see what the move was about - from N&R to Potential, that I understand, have no issue with...I just started the thread where the other one was, wasn't even thinking about that - mostly habitual since it's already there!

But yeah I changed the tag.

Now if the Lightbringers can edit their tag, they can open that one too and move it where it needs to go...and then unlock the general chat/trailhead one for new people if they really want to read thru 50 pages of debates over twinkies, be my guest (but we all know nobody's gonna!)

Before the confusion, I read one one of them that "yay we're in" - what is that in reference to, someone got in one of the sites? What's up with that?

Karensa, I understand your frustrations but, there is really nothing any of us can do. If they only want one thread right now, then we will all have to deal with it.

And just to add this: the only reason we had more than one thread was because we did get moved to CF by an admin... and in CF, more than one thread is acceptable... so when we got moved back to N&R, all our threads came with us...

OK I was actually working most of the day trying to get caught up on work before the long weekend. And while I am almost afraid to suggest this, there is a solution to wanting multiple threads. We could play the game at the new Darklight Arg Forum. He built a really nice site for people to use we could break it in for him... (Of course staying here is fine too.)

Yeah, I saw what the moved threads were about - that was a misunderstanding on my part. I figured when I woke up and got on to check there would be 45 more pages and 10 sites having been found, both sites logged in and it whooshed off. Instead I discovered 2 of the 3 threads are locked on grounds of "we don't need more than one thread" which is how that came across, which is total bullshit since most games have dozens of threads. So I responded to it...and then saw the part about these two weren't actual trailheads...so I figued all it takes to solve that is change the tags...but to be honest I haven't even remotely paid any attention to which forum any of these are in. If anything got moved to CF, I missed it...it was all in NR yesterday.


Okay so the status then is back to zero...we have two websites with logins, two names and alphabets for the groups, no one has cracked the passwords, no one has replied from the whois info contact *** and basically the only thing exciting today so far is the trailhead threads on lockdown?

So I didn't miss anything after all? Yay!


** whois contact - on that subject someone mentioned somewhere about concerns over contact, we do know (or should) that the locations on the return address are obviously OOG - nobody should've even wondered. They were used IG for whatever purpose but more likely a boundary - the code solving was the purpose (and possibly to give us a chunk of alphabet for later?).

But the contacts had email addresses not to those locations but to the IG sites - Christopher Rydeck or whatever it was, was at the lightbringers and then Helen was at umbrati. Those may not be active characters but they're most obviously IG.

I did send an email to Helen yesterday, so far no reply. Whoever sent one to Christopher, have you heard anything back yet? I wager not under the circumstances...

Guys, I love you all! No really, I do...BUT....

didn't we read in Nights blog on his website, that the game would not be ready for a couple of weeks, possibly early June??

I think that logging into the sites is actually never gonna happen at this point because I think that, like his blogs have said, he mailed stuff out as kinda a prequel to the game...

Am I right or wrong??? Pancito, I know that you are keeping up with this just like me! Don't you think I am right?

The indications the PM gave were that it wouldn't start for a while, however I think the speculation is fair that this may have been misdirection. Also the exuberance shown is understandable given the level of anticipation and length of wait.

I doubt we will have a long wait until the game proper kicks off. It doesn't make for a good start to get a teaser like the mail shots, then for nothing to happen for weeks. Having said that all we may get at this stage may just be a pre-game.

All speculation aside, we still don't have any real information about what the game will consist of, and whether we will be working together, or against each other.

Given all the above I'm inclined to agree we should still be in N&R, but with two threads, this one, and the one for the Lightsiders. My rationale being there have been two sperate mailings and we don't know how, or if, or when, they will link together.

I agree with Alisdairpark, although I normally side with the Admin for closing unnessecary threads, these two groups have diffrent languages, trailheads, rabbitholes. When someone says "I got a package" they have to specify their side... I say we either need the second forum or everyone has to put a header on what side they are for (lol).
