The name of the sender chiaro oscuros resembles chiaroscuro which is term in art and means clear-dark. Don't know if it's related, but since we are shadows in the dark there could be a connection.

Something strange... If you try incorrect words to log in you usually get [X] however I tried Horse of Iron, and Iron and while I didn't get in, I didn't get an X (in case you're wondering why I tried those, googling "fire that burns" threw up a sad dating site with some poems..)

EDIT: NM it just seems to randomly give an X or no X now...

I just got the email too. Most likly has something to do with BoL/SiD, but did only the Umbrati get it or are the Lightbringers getting it too? Thank god i decided to read this before toasting on the spa, thread. Have we thought of contacting our sender yet by email or by chat.

EDIT: PS, are we sticking with #Pastry or are we switching it to something more offical.

I responded to the email . I asked if the heart that weeps and the fire that burns referred to Heraclitus. He was referred to as 'The Weeping Philosopher', and he believed that all matter was made of fire. It's a stretch, but he's one of my favorite Greeks so I figured I'd give it a try!

Hi Palm!
We're not sure how much that will matter yet. There are two rabbit holes (one for light and one for dark), and there seem to be different fonts and perhaps clues for each. We've only got the one thread here, though, so we're pooling all our clues together at this point.

John Paul Richter wrote a blurb about 'the heart that weeps'. He was an art historian from the nineteenth century. He writes that the heart that weeps belongs to man.
