 [MISSION/KAI] Who Wants a Trackstick?

Kai has posted an urgent mission on Ariadne's blog.
With that in mind, i've started two threads at Larissa's forum. One is Kai's post translated to Portuguese, and the other is an enlistment thread.

I ask people to leave their names, emails and strengths, and they have to be totally sure that they're really attending to the omphalabyrinth.
I hope it helps.

He says: If you live in a city that we need to build a labyrinth in, let me know and send me your mailing address via Private Message. . .

and also: If you have questions for James about Theo, private message them to me.

but how does one private message him? Through facebook?

Laughing Thanks. I was using Kai, instead of kai, in the address line and it kept telling me there was no such user. Rolling Eyes

That's the part that worry me. Can we do omphalabyrinth in random cities or should we have to follow a strict list of ompha cities (List we still don't fully have yet) ?

"Tracksticks. Lots of tracksticks. Enough to make our 27 ompha-knots, and then some."

According to the chat I had with Eli, the cities we know so far are:

Sao Paolo, Brasil
Buenos Aires, Argentina
San Francisco, USA
Los Angeles, USA
Seoul, Korea

As I understand it, we now have team leaders who have contacted Kai from Sao Paolo, Buenos Aires, and now hmrpita for San Francisco.

Who's keen from Los Angeles?

Do we have any new contacts in Seoul since the Artifact Pickup? I'm concerned that it will be a hard ask - it's one thing to get a stranger to pick up an envelope, another to get them to lead a team and map out a giant labyrinth!

Besides "ordering" tracksticks from Kai we have to design City Labyrinths. I already started threads for Philadelphia and San Francisco

Unfortunately there are not so many people interested in designing City Labyrinths than people interested in tracksticks Sad

hey ive been doing some research about trackstick.

its an Aussie company
and the amount were talking about is worth about $8k AU

there are 2 portable models
Trackstick II $299 x 27 = $8073
and
super Trackstick $369 x 27 = $9963

so thats quite a hefty ammout of money, but i suppose that what u get for hooking in with macca's as sponsers

Wouldn't it be nice to have a city labyrinth in Munich, if it comes up as one of the possible omphalos cities? Wink

4th turn

5th circuit (ca. 15.44 km - the longest bit!)
Birkenau - Oefelestr. - Falkenstr. - Mariahilfplatz - Lilienstr. - Am Gasteig - Innere Wiener Str. Wiener Platz - Sckellstr. - Maria-Theresia-Str. - Friedensengel - Isarradweg/Thomas-Mann-Allee until John-F.-Kenney-Brücke - Englischer Garten/Kleinhesseloher See - Biedersteinerstr. - Feilitzschstr. - Herzogstr. - Schleißheimer Str. - Schwere-Reiter-Str. - Dachauer Str. - Lothstr. - Nymphenburger Str. - Pappenheimstr. - Wredestr. - Hackerbrücke - Grasserstr. - Holzapfelstr. - Schießstättenstr. - Alter Messeplatz - Theresienhöhe - Radlkoferstr. - Pfeuferstr.
5th turn

6th circuit (ca. 10.02 km)
Lindwurmstr. - Ruppertstr. - Tumblingerstr. - Zenettistr. - Stielerstr. - Bavariaring - Pettenkoferstr. - Paul-Heyse-Str. - Seidlstr. - Stiglmaierplatz - Dachauer Str. - Schleißheimer Str. - Georgenstr. - Tengstr. - Elisabethstr. - Franz-Joseph-Str. - Martiusstr. - Thiemestr. - across Englischer Garten - Oettingenstr.
6th turn

7th circuit (ca. 3.65 km)
Liebigstr. - Wagmüllerstr. - across Englischer Garten again - Veterinärstr. - Schellingstr. - Arcisstr. - Königsplatz (Greek temples!!!)

End of Labyrinth ...

About 50 km? There are several spots along the way where we might stop and have some ice cream, if it's a hot day ... Very Happy
