 		Hi all
Hey ladies and gents,
Been reading the posts here since the site was mentioned on Whedonesque. I've gotten sucked into lurking the HoloMove game, too, but that happened because I was looking for a way to inject more Joss Whedon into my life. Anyway, the 'Kimi might be Echo's sister' thing occurred to me too, so I watched the video a few more times. It is a bit suspicious that the first we ("we" meaning rabid whedonesque fans, who milk the web for every drop of dollhouse info) ever hear about echo's missing sister is in that clip - they've leaked no backstory or information. Pure speculation here, obviously, but - is it possible that what triggers Echo into being extraordinary/undoll-like is that something happens to her sister?
Then again, when I first saw the clip, I assumed it was Echo in character as someone else. We know she doesn't wake up one day and start remembering herself - Joss has only ever said that it occurs to her that something is wrong, and then that she starts having memories of past missions. It'd probably be many episodes into the series until she starts remembering her primary, pre-Doll self, and they hadn't filmed past the first episode when that clip was released.

Anyway, good work all - so glad this experienced community is here for me to watch and learn from! I emailed Sheridan yesterday, but didn't get a response back. Hmmm..

All the pages seem to be static HTML pages.
Changing the parameters doesn't produce any effect, and you don't need to do the login to access the webmail.

You can just call directly this link (http://www.adelledewitt.com/src/webmail.php) and skip the login page.

If the page you are looking doesn't exist you will be redirected to the login screen.

I've downloaded the squirrelmail software to look if there were others pages but without luck.

Looks like they are aware (I assume) of http://findkimi.com/

This email came in while I was on the site about 20 mins ago it is time stamped 7:33 am and Adelle is calling for a meeting at 9am that means there is a meeting in about an hour to discuss (I assume) Sheridan.

 		I've only ever been able to jump into one game here, and that ended up being pretty much a bust (damn you, Ethan Haas...) I was going to try and get into Holomove, but this looks like much more my style! Huge Whedon fan, ridiculously excited about Dollhouse, and I'd love an ARG related to it!

I am sort of bummed it's not as involved as Holomove yet, but then again - who knows what that one's about, just that it's somehow connected to FOX. Hope you guys don't mind another jumping in to play! Very Happy

Well, yeah, now that I think about it, he might find that off-putting, as we seriously don't have anything connecting the two websites...aside from the Kimi Lassek post on the fox blog that revealed the login...Maybe if we shared that with him?

I am still in the "Hello, I'd like the help!" phase of email, so perhaps someone who's actually had a response from him should get the honors.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but I have a thought about that scene. It is actually a caution for many of the out of contexts tidbits that will likely filter in over these next months. The interaction between Paul and Echo could be part of a scenario for which he has hired her. It may be that it is simply part of building a case against the Dollhouse. There is certainly mitigating evidence in the trailer, but that could be all it is, nonetheless. Anything we see that isn't obviously in the Dollhouse could be, probably is, a scenario of some sort. We must be cautious about taking it as accurate canon info until we see it in context. Even then some healthy skepticism could be a good thing. That is just the nature of a show that deals with these themes.

On an unrelated note, I have taken my first steps as an ARG player and contacted Mr. Owen, as well (before I read all the posts). I like the idea of someone trying to contact Adelle. Perhaps they are interested in hiring an Active.

 		Also remember that we can't just assume that the game/promotion itself will ever directly reference a storyline from the series itself. Until and unless events from script pieces or video clips from the show specifically are referenced in-game, I'd argue they aren't (yet?) relevant to gameplay.

I was getting a picture this morning, but now I am getting blank white when I follow the link from Brink's e-mail to Adelle. There isn't even any source code.

 		Southlands labs was up about half an hour ago, with a picture of the beds(?) from above, but now it's blank, perhaps it's updating.

So let me get the story straight... furiousnads gets an email trailhead from the IG character Adelle DeWitt. This email is ordering Topher Brink to take down http://southlandlabs.com/ for remodeling. Southland Labs sight is indeed down for remodeling, and is currently a dead end. The email was backtracked to adelleSPLATadelledewitt.com which led to http://www.adelledewitt.com. An IG character named Kimi Lassek posed a name and pass on the fox.com forums (and was endorsed by them). These opened the mailserver, leading to further investigation of Kimi, which resulted in http://findkimi.com/ which is by IG character Sheridan Owen, who posted a picture of interest. If I'm not missing something, the next step would be to identify the location in the picture using IG information. Does it look like the background that was, until very recently, on the southlandlabs site? (EDIT: Grabbed it from google cache) That would be a good connection to get the ball rolling.
