[MISSION] Texas labyrinth training
DFW and surrounding, anyone interested?

I'm seeing a lot of posts pop up about gathering to train, so I figured I'd throw my hat in, too. I know there are ARGers in the area, but not sure who's actually following/playing this one. So give us a shout if you're up for a session, or know someone who might be into it.

Augh, if only I had a vehicle. Crying or Very sad

Houston area I could do, though!

Texas is too big! I've got a big supply of sidewalk chalk if anybody wants to practice in Austin.

Well, while I'm sad I can't play with/against y'all, I think it's clear we need to form a Texas league with regional factions. You guys up for organizing them in your area?

I'm trying to get more local folks interested by leaving propaganda all over the place (both Internet and meatspace), might try an ad on Craigslist or some such.

Space is not an issue--I live within sight of a huge park with a nifty pavilion that would be awesome for labyrinth-drawing. Lack of warm bodies is, though. I guess I could take my bucket o' chalk to the park and draw a labyrinth to play with, but I would feel kind of weird doing so alone. :}

Not to mess with Texas or anything, but once any of you have a date, time, and place figured out for your training event, make sure to post it here and ask people to sign up. I think it's what Ariadne would want. Smile

Added to the upcoming list! I'm checking out a couple of fields so I'll add the location sometime this weekend.

Alas, I cant ever do saturdays. Sundays are my only weekend day free.

Perhaps what I'll do is try to coordinate a Sunday training at my site (near the border between Duncanville/Oakcliff)

How's that sound?

Okay, Texas! School's out soon and maybe we can get something going here? What do you think? Can we coordinate somewhere on June 7 and be running in synch with other places at 4 pm?

And city sized labyrinth- which of our cities, if any, might qualify?

I hope you can join the synchronization with New York, São Paulo, and San Francisco. That'd be awesome!

I put a training on the calendar. i don't suppose we'll set any records, but we'll be playing June 7 to support the larger effort
