Well the other team seems to think that Patrick died in a plane crash on his way to S.F. That would explain why he is a former employee and "the fire that burns".

hmm that could be but should we have seen any speculation towards a planecrass?

Well yeah, it's just speculation. There is no proof to back it up at this point.

I first saw 'escaping the heat' and 'escaping the loss' as both referring to a possible crime/act of passion, that being the Fire that Burns. The heart that weeps could be the remorse over the act.

But this is all speculation on my part, as well.

i've looked at the beacon forum there is something in there
so if it was a planecrass one can assume the dates are his birth and death making him 32 almost 33

but i think it will reveal itself what its is

Well, Chris Rybeck is a dead end for me at this point. Though perhaps someone else may have more luck with him if they have something more specific to ask him about, and a better way to convince him to share it.

as i stated before and just now on the beaconforum there could be a posibility that there is a conection between the beaconstar project and the beacons

That's a very nice and logical summary.

I wonder if Patrick has an old email account with Bluegenics that we could get into somehow? I don't see a login for employees on the site anywhere, at least obviously linked to. I'll play with various URLs when I get home.

Edit: Or better yet, get into Chris' email. Possibly that's his password on his business card? Even if that does seem a bit obvious.
