http://southlandlabs.com/above.jpg is hosted at 64.38.221.247 and displays fine, without errors.

Both files are identical, as far as I can tell, when saved locally. The issue is possibly with http headers or something that the browser sees during transmission, but the file itself is fine.

*(edit to add) By "errors", i didn't mean the image itself, which looks normal, but in Firefox if you right-click and choose 'Properties', there is a line which says the image had errors -- not everyone's browser produces it and not every time:
The image "http://www.southlandlabs.com/above.jpg" cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Aah, I see now. Thank you for pointing that out. No way it could be Echo then. Perhaps then Miss Adelle herself, but that's just pure speculation at this point.

EDIT: No way it could be Adelle, since that's definitely not the snobby british woman I've seen in the previews. I take that back.

There are actually 3 clips showing that same pic, my best guess is it's Dr. Claire Saunders but the hair color doesn't quite match

I'm having no trouble accessing both. hmmmm... maybe a region thing?

i think topher and adelle are quite unreachable (we also don't have any email adress of them), but Sheridan Owen is quite talky. just today i found out, that he answered me too, but it got in the junk folder. Smile

Nothing for Topher, though.

I am a little uneasy about sending that address anything, though. If someone's feeling risk-taking, they can go for it, but me, I'd prefer to email people I've obtained the email address of via non-spying techniques.

 		[RESOURCE] Website List, Character List, Story So Far
Here's a summary of the game's events so far... I guess you can consider this my 'jumping on' post, as well. (This just seems too darn interesting for me to stay away!) Smile

I'll try to keep this edited and updated; let me know if I missed anything.


IG-Websites

Southland Labs - a website run by Topher Brink that is currently offline.

Adelle DeWitt's Webite - a website containing a login for Adelle DeWitt's email (un/pw: adelle/wipe).

Find Kimi - a website run by Sheridan Owen for the purpose of finding Kimi Lassek.


IG-Characters
Note: I'm not including confirmed characters from the show unless they've specifically appeared in the online component.

Topher Brink - the Dollhouse's programmer who runs the Southland Labs website.

Adelle DeWitt - a snotty British woman who runs the Dollhouse.

Sheridan Owen - a civil service worker from Manchester who is trying to find his friend, Kimi Lassek.

Kimi Lassek - a missing person presumed to be at the Dollhouse.


Story So Far

May 23, 2008 - TheOneTrueBix mistakenly receives an email from adelleSPLATadelledewitt.com, directing him to take the Southland Labs website offline for redesigning. This leads to both the Southland Labs website and Adelle DeWitt's website.

May 26, 2008 - "Kimi Lassek" posts Adelle DeWitt's email username and password in the comments section of one of the blog posts at the Fox website. A google search for "Kimi Lassek" leads to the Find Kimi website, where there are two blog posts online. The first refers to an attempt by Sheridan to create a video about Kimi Lassek's absence; the second shows a photo that Sheridan received in the mail.

Also, the password posted by Kimi Lassek on Fox's blog leads to access to Adelle's email, which has one message from Topher to Adelle, notifying her that he has taken the Southland Labs website offline.

Finally, October is contacted by Sheridan, who says that he received a letter from Kimi in which she mentioned the Dollhouse.

May 27, 2008 - Adelle sends a mass-email from her account to the security DL within the Dollhouse. She says that a civilian, presumably Sheridan, is trying to find one of the Actives, presumably Kimi.

I don't think we have much to talk about with Adelle. Everything we know about her either comes from logging into her e-mail account or thanks to the character descrptions given by Fox. It's too risky and might cut our head-start. Let's wait and see. Now Sheridan is much more of an approachable character. In fact, Sheridan WANTS help.

Nothing new today, it seems...'cept for one sole response from Sheridan, which basically says nothing.
