I was just watching the trailer for Far Cry 2 when I saw a website flash at the bottom right of the screen which can be found here:

It apparently has to do with the main character (spec) of the game and a blog of some sorts of being a merc in Africa. I figured this is a viral campaign and wanted to inform you all.

 		So what's the deal with this? The blog continues to be updated, and is so incredibly extensive / realistic. But nothing to even consider investigating? Is it only elaborate background?

If that was going to be it, couldn't they have just opened a blog closer to the released date and back-posted all of this instead of going through the hassle of updating in so often?

 		He seems pretty insistent on figuring out who the Jackal is. But I'm guessing that's something they reveal in the game. So I doubt there's anything out there for us to look for, in this regard anyways...

It's odd though.
