Slusho shipping costs
What the hell?

Any European people here who ordered something from Slusho.jp? I was about to order something from the website and when i wanted to click the "Place order" button i saw that the shipping costs are 29 dollars! Anybody else had this? I think its way too much.

Sorry if this is the wrong section.

That's a pretty normal price. I mean, you're flying a package over the ocean...

The only that bothers me is that I have been waiting for weeks and still haven't received anything.

There are different costs for apparel and things like DVDs. For some reason clothes are really expensive to ship.

One of the reasons is that clothing needs more detailed paperwork for Customs. For example, you need to declare where the garment was put together, where the fabric comes from, etc. It is a lot more work to ship textile items.

yeh, clothes n food are way expensive to ship. My wife is from New Zealand, and she loves to have disgusting MARMITE and this energy drink called V shipped over every couple months, and it costs almost $50 bucks NZ (which is somewhere around 38 bucks US) to ship it over. Same applies with clothing, and i dont know why either, i always thought they guaged how much they charged by the weight of the package when dealing with overseas shipping. Wierd eh?? N they do alot wierder shit than making you declare the items in customs in some cases too. There was a couple times that the post office in NZ actually made my wifes mom freakin get postage insurance on the package?! i was like WDF, why the hell would we need to insure a freakin can of energy drink?!
