isis
how to solve it

I have found a way to force it open without damaging the key inside simply follow these instructions: Submerge it in a fizzy drink( I don't know why it works but it just does, I used Pepsi but I've heard other drinks do work too) just put it in a bowl or something, next leave it for 10 minutes to soak, after that just hit it against the palm of ur hand once or twice and then finally hit it as hard as you can with a hammer/mallet. Doing this stops the key inside from being destroyed and u don't have to solve the boring riddle!

This method wasn't created by me and so I can't take credit for it, it was created by Steven daly, A.K.A the boy with no friends.

I could do with a pointer on how to start to decrypt the clues. Maybe a link to a site with decrytion methods.

Deciphering clues
Ermmm.....

Crikey, If you need help to decipher the clues then you are really going to struggle with opening the isis, in fact you wont unless someone helps you. And the bit after that will be impossible.

If you read the threads here you will get the clues deciphered already and even a walkthrough for opening it.

Little Help?

So, I live in the states and have always wanted one of these. However, never wanted to drop the $245 that sharper image wanted for them.

Yesterday, my friend saw one at a sharper image that was closing and bought it for me. Well, Unfortunately for me, it came with no box and no papers as the store went out of business. I downloaded the PDF for the clues and have figured them out.

However, I in a bit of a dilemma. My Isis was apparently the store display model and it would appear someone has unlocked the first level. However, seeing as how I don't know what the first level should have looked like. I am a bit befuddled as to what to do next.

As of this moment I can hear one ball bearing rolling around inside and the plunger will plunge in roughly half an Inch.

If anyone knows where I should be starting from at this point it would be greatly appreciated. Also, is the game still in play for people in the US?

Thanx,

-Ark

it sounds to me like that Isis is not unlocked at all, even if it was, it would make no difference in the way you open it, you'd only be a step ahead.

And yes, the game is still in play for us folks in the states

I think all of us who have opened their Isis are in the same boat with you, volence; stuck with some crazy riddle that is impossible to figure out. Sorry, but i don't think you'll find much help anywhere, at least i haven't.

since I don't feel like sifting thru 68 pages...
does anybody have anything up-to-date on whether or not ALL the tokens for the free ISIS puzzle have been found in the Chicago area? I know there's 5 in Grant Park and 5 in Navy Pier, I know where they are specifically but don't want to drive out there if it's of no use.

Resetting the isis

I'm having problems resetting my Isis. I have NOT removed the maze but when ever I push the maze in flush, i try to screw the two halves together and the maze pops up. It wont stay down. Obviously I want to be able to keep opening my isis so does anyone know if this is a problem and how to fix it if it is? Thanks

volence, the same thing happened to my Isis when i tried to reset it. there's really not muck you can do about it, but to prevent it from locking while you screw it together, hold it upside down and when you hear it lock push the plunger in. If it is constantly locking you can try keeping the plunger depressed the whole time.
