I think you will have to fly a "college" down from Canada too. Wink

I'll see if I can expense it out for recruiting and consulting. Smile
I was in San Diego for two weeks last summer and had to leave right before the Con - wanted to be there for Cloverfield stuff then, but no go.

What about your CEO of your European department, in London England? Wink

My spider-sense tells me that this

http://octagonglobalrecruiting.blogspot.com/2008/05/mysterious-warning.html

is bogus, especially because it doesn't bother to say WHERE it saw this alleged message, and I can't find it online anywhere via Google.

So I'll ask here if anyone's seen what that post refers to anywhere other than in that post itself.

Ah the ever famous "Oh no theyve found me, but ill just hit the enter key and send this half finished message" routine.

Smacks of herring.

Infact from looking at the rest of the posts on the blog id say its a herring from someone else that hes posting about. Checking..

Please, I need your attention

It seems that you already watched. I'm late. I'm so sorry.

Please don't give your e-mail to those bastards, you don't know what you are dealing with. They will experiment with you, if it is necessary they will kill you, they will send you to a special place, to see how much you can hold,

I hope isn't too late, please, don't give your e-mail. If you already gave your e-mail. Please change it quickly, they can find you, don't let the Dharma...

I really cant be bothered to trawl through the DarkUFO forums to find this random piece of fluffer.

I'm in too. love Lost Smile .
I hope that this time I won't need to stay up at three in the night to see the website "happening" online as in find815 ! (and that was why I actually didn't do that... Sad )

My work is actually paying for me to head down there and host a panel at the comic con this year Smile

Super happy that they'll be doing another TLE ARG down there!

By the way, to anyone planning on attending, make sure you line up for the Lost Panel SUPER early...I'm talking hours before hand. They always fill up the fastest.

Also, I'm thinking this "recruitment" might be similar to the clown recruitment from the Dark Knight ARG last year. That was pretty involved with people having to go around the convention center as well as downtown San Diego to complete tasks

Here's the original comment.

It comes from Hacker Mind Iris, who has a blogger account here, and an empty Spanish-language blog called Casimir Effect at dharmaexperiments.blogspot.com.

Also,

On the video, when the list of positions shows on the screen, if you read the first letter of every position starting from the bottom going up it reads:

dharmainitiativeeabejnchdbebmpzppm

Ok so is that just a random string of lettors on the end of the dharma initiative part? Can anyone make anything out of eabejnchdbebmpzppm? Im not getting anything at the moment. Not enough vowels.

Just wanted to mention that I was also trying to decode these letters over on The Fuselage... would be great if someone can "Explore the Possibilities" and crack it.

Here is the other discussion thread if anyone is interested:

I wondered if this was an ARG! I'm in!

I'm still new to ARG, so I'm gonna need some help; but I know Lost.

nice to see some floridians coming out of the woodwork for this one. (wink wink nudge nudge to pm's if you're reading this)

so the blogs are being ruled out? something just doesn't seem right about it until we get a little more info.

Something tells me that an ABC-sponsored ARG with any sort of production value to it would not use a random plain blogspot.

Just my input.

Not to mention that the only in-game site we have right now is OGR. Until and unless something connected to that tips us to another site or source, anything and everything except OGR needs to be viewed with suspicion.

Yeah, of course we can't know beyond a doubt yet, but the whole Hacker Mind Iris thing strikes me as an only half-hearted gamejack attempt. I'm not sure if there's anything to solve yet, but if there is I'd put my money on that string of letters.

Hi, by the way. If this starts up soon I'll be along for the ride, too.
