"Report spam" function

[EDIT] Moved this post from an answer to an actual spam post --Gisk

Because SG's lock didn't take on this one...
I'll go ahead and ask, here.

Would it make the site too busy if we had a "Report SPAM" link on the page header, somewhere?

The link could explain how to link to the alleged pork shoulder and how to report it, as well as a note about not replying to it and that if you have, you should avail yourself of the delete button.

I kinda like the suggestion. It could be a button at the bottom of every individual post, like some other phpBB boards have. Unfortunately, there's still a rather long wishlist for things to add to UF, and decidedly low capacity of people actually able to process these wishes Neutral

I'm going to resurrect this thread, because the suggestion is still good. I found some hidden spam this morning, but I have no convenient way to report it for a moderator to remove the links.

As an alternative, we had been using a stickied thread where people could report spammy posts (and users with spammy sig links), but it has disappeared. Google tells me where it used to be:
forums.unfiction.com › Forum index › Administration › General - View topic - Report SPAM here

If it was removed for administrative reasons, then it would be inappropriate for me to start a new thread. Until I hear otherwise, I guess we shouldn't be posting links to offending posts, and will instead save them for reporting thru other channels.

I'm, not sure if this is v2 or v3 or phpBB (it looks like 3), but there are mods that allow for reporting spam links and profiles to moderators/admins.
