Hmmm... chapters 1, 2 and 4 eh?

Adds up to 7. So, another XBox/Bungie link?

EDIT: Only just noticed how many pages of this there are. If this rather obvious little comment's already been noted, sorry Embarassed

Umm...there was also a chapter 5, though.

Since I didn't see the search results I found for T-U-R-T-L-E listed anywhere, I thought I'd post them up.

First there's this one:
http://paths.tamu.edu/turtle.htm
Quote:
How to Turtle
"Doing Turtle" is a technique used to help children learn self-control and behavioral inhibition.
"Doing Turtle" is a behavioral inhibition technique that is also a physical cue.
"Doing Turtle" incorporates the "3 Steps for Calming Down:"
STOP (go to the red light)
TAKE A DEEP BREATH (yellow)

SAY THE PROBLEM AND HOW YOU FEEL (green)

Sound familiar? Maybe nothing though.

Next one was a constant result of cheat codes for the TMNT game. Note, these included the phrase exactly as "T-U-R-T-L-E Power!". I chose the X-Box codes, due to the possible tie-in.
Quote:
Holiday Outfits
Change your system's date to either December 24th or 25th to see the turtles in Santa garb. Change it to October 31st to wear a pumpkin on your head.

The Princess obviously understands linguistic context, as she's able to create a coherent message from the snippets she assembles. However, she is unlikely to understand cultural context. In other words, she knows as a semantic proposition what a "teenage mutant ninja turtle" is; she probably doesn't know it as a cultural artifact, however. (Exceptions may be made in the case of great creative works: classical history, Shakespeare, Dean Martin, and so on.)

I'm inclined to see that line as encouragement, not a clue. After all, we're dealing with a princess (teenage) who's a rogue AI (mutant), with the ability to hide from her enemies (ninja) and is currently ensconced in some kind of casket (turtle) -- and we are, for better or for worse, trying to give her power.

We will probably need more clues on what some of the deeper meanings of the e-mail are. Mostly the e-mail seems to just have answered some of our more commonly asked questions, and also give us better idea on how she communicates. Mostly I think that we are running on a lack of more revealing clues.

This may be a stretch, and as of yet, I have nothing to back it up. However, I get this gut feeling that the Queen is responsible for all communications (web-site and e-mail) thus far. My belief is that she is deceiving us by impersonating the Princess, the Flea, the Widow, et al. She is trying to gain our trust and sympathy in order to trick us into helping her. I have a larger theory that explains her reasoning for this, but I want to hold off and get some evidence first.

Unfortunantly it is impossible to tell if it is indeed the SP, or the Widow, or something else all together. From all the clues we have it is most likly the SP. Though if it is actually the SP. I'm afriad only time can tell.

im new here

Yo
I'm a n00b here, so if I say some thing stupid, be kinda gentle. Anyway, I sent an email to Ladybee777 to see if anything I sent shows up. The subject was:
'Veni, Veci...'
and the email contained the words:
'Vetinari!

"On the very night you were born"
"House DeVir ceased to extst. An excellent attack, thank you very much."

So here is of special remarkable way
Of this fellow raps named Sushi K

ph34r t3h l33t sk1llz'

I just quoted books i owned at random, so if they're quoted in a new email we'll know. Same thing with the l33t.

One of the new embedded images on the ilovebees site says:

I gather from that, the teaching portion of us sending e-mails to ladybee777 is over. She no longer requires various words and phrases to use our language, so we should just be able to ask her normal questions or what not in our e-mails. So it is possible what you sent in your letter might be used Eval, I'm not sure we need to send random quotes or literature anymore.

Yea, I'm a n00b....

Hey everyone, as you can tell from the post count, I'm a total n00b to this board, and ARG in general, but it looks like a ton of fun, and I'm really interested in it, so I figured I'd join the board, and toss some ideas out there.
For one, after noticing that the Sleeping Princess seems to "learn" from our emails, I had a thought, maybe rather than just vocabulary and structure, she is actually looking for something, some kind of information she needs. I'm kicking around the idea of sending her passages of The Art of War.... of course if the Sleeping Princess turns out not to be on our side, and she does learn from emails....
I have a few other ideas, but I'll sit on them for a bit. They are kind of out there..

The Sleeping Princess isn't using snippets of email anymore. She's been reading childrens novels. She references "The Secret Garden", "Hansel & Gretel", "The Snow Queen" and others in the last email.

[spec] She's devouring information. The Hotmail account was cleared completely of email, and then SP started replying by regurgitating lines from those emails.
Then she learned how to communicate in haiku, through the Hive-Ku page.
Now she "speaks" at a higher level, but childlike, and she references childrens novels. She's been reading. She'll move on to greater literary texts soon enough, and then to technical journals...
Although that brings a question forward - where is she finding these things to read, if she's sequestered away somewhere?
