Excellent - if I were at home when that thought hit me I'd have done it myself, but still at work away from the button.

OK, just to spare any other buttons and for the sake of posterity, here is the dismantled button. Unfortunately I'm not having any luck getting it back together.

Bah - The Lighters have got into their page
EDIT:

Plus there is the matter of security: the last thing we need is for certain undesirables to come in here and attempt to use our information to destroy what we have spent so long building.
That'd be us then
EDIT2: I've tried registering, just to see if they cross reference our original affiliations.... and got a reply back. It seems they don't cross ref I wonder if they expected some sort of honour code that we wouldn't spy? If so they were thinking of the wrong side...

Pancito suggested trying to decode the photos of the characters to see if there was a hidden message in one of them.
After several attempts, using the chiaro oscuro's(I'm too lazy to check the spelling right now) key, I got nothing but impressions of the actual images.
There might be something that can be found with the other keys, but I'm going to bed lol.

Still thinking about that other image.
I've started to wonder if the lines are meant to indicate tides. The rabbithole page shows the moon above the sea.

When I Google "GFARK" I get a number of results that lead to the Garden Flag of Arkansas (GF of ARK) for the Arkansas Razorbacks (NCAA team at the University of Arkansas). Their flag is this:
The stadium that was found earlier was in Charlotte, North Carolina, which may or may not be relevant.
