[QUESTION] anyone believe Halo isn't involved?

OK, weather enayone likes it or not, this story/game IS SET IN THE UNIVERSE OF HALO.

The end result come Aug 24th may or may not be Halo related, but this game IS. End of. If you think otherwise I'd first get your head checked, and THEN provide evidence as to what it is that proves everything else wrong.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's part of Halo too, I'm just wondering if anybody doen't think so.

Obviously the story snipets take place in some ancheint greek lands. See, little did we know that when the persians inaded, they were called the covinant, and that the Athenian mariners, aka marines, were advanced in the ways of dental technology and electormagnetic propulsion. And obviously the crashed ship is a shipwrecked trireme.

And... uhh... the operator is Posideons long lost daughter....

There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding about this. Yes, I KNOW that this game is a promotion for the Halo 2 video game. And yes, it is probably set in the same or similar universe as Halo. HOWEVER... that does not mean we can abandon all rational thought and speculate: OMG TEH QUEEN IS PROBABLY CORTANA!! AND FARNSWORTH IS MASTER CHIEF!!!11

I think it is reasonable to expect that we will get our plot from mostly in game sources. No need to dig through the Halo books and desperately try to fit the events of this game into their plots. The Beast was set in the AI universe, but knowing the plot of the AI movie was unneccessary, in fact... it only ruined things.

THAT is what I mean when I plead with people to forget everything they know about Halo for a minute.

I believe that yes, the game does indeed have some LINK to the Halo world, but not correlating directly with what we know.

Bungie is absolutely infamous for its story telling skills, and I believe both Marathon and Halo "universes" are involved somehow. Why I posted here? I don't wanna trout the rest of the place. (Even though this most likely is.

For now though, think like this.

Bungie Universe Story = What you know plus what was recieved from ilovebees AFTER the game is over (is it a game yet?..?..?)
