i only remember seeing the swordish shapes after the metastisized effects.
im not talking about the pictures, but just that the text more often than not takes the shapes of daggers.

Indeed, this is separate from that other thread. the thread linked to concerns odd whitespace in the original ILB text, not odd shapes in the phase3 inserted text!

On the wiki someone has mentioned this too.

There may be something in it. Certainly all that formatting probably took a while (or the script generating it did), so we shouldn't just overlook another part of the information we have.

Discussions are going on here too - let's move to that thread.
