[Experiment] Voice Communication

I'm going to try something - instead of sending text, I'm going to send a .WAV file of me talking to the recipient. Judging by the new sounds on the site, that might be a viable avenue of communication.

Wish me luck!

[EDIT]

Attaching recorded message.

(gotta ask you though, really... the "echo mirage" "project WILDFIRE" thing... is it really necessary? i mean, i'm glad you've dropped it on here, but you're confusing the hell out of those poor kids on Dana's blog)

At first, it was merely to tick off all the naysayers who were simply bashing it as a Halo 2 ad and calling everyone involved dumbasses.

Then I used it to toy with some wannabe PM calling himself "wasp777" - he was posting poor imitations of a subservient computer process dedicated to eliminating threats.

Now that he's gone (or so it seems), I'm using it the way James Steele is being used - as a player-created character, only his purpose is somewhat different.

So, those of you who've listened to it . . . is it a good message?

Good idea

Great idea,
I thought of it myself late last night, and just posted it in the sound files thread. Best of luck to you.

Best of luck! The message isn't too long, easy words for an AI to understand. I hope this gets an in-game response.

Fingers crossed for ya!
