LMAO I didn't even click the link, I looked at the post and rolled my eyes.
Seriously? Rickrolling is getting SO old now.
Agreed. Blindly clicking that link just made me lose my work.
Please stop. It's not funny. It's never been funny. Knock it off.
oh sweeten the flower up.
Excuse me for trying to participate in the forums as they were meant to be used. I should just stop checking this place. You guys have turned it into such a mess.
I don't know if it's just that the mainstream caught the Cloverfield bug, and all flocked here, but it really seems like a chunk of this group of players aren't as nice as you would find in virtually any other part of this site.
Although if pulling those childish pranks is what you guys are into, I can at least take comfort in the fact that 3 people are smiling at the casualty of one. Personally causing other people trouble doesn't exactly bring a grin to my face.

Anyone using firefox can get an add-on called blocksite. I use it rarely but it will stop that stupid jumping link from screwing you over.

Personally I think the trailer for the Cloverfield sequel will sit right in front of Star Trek. I mean, why not? It comes out before Tranformers 2 and just think of the exposure the trailer would get in front of a very very long awaited film. Not to mention it would be nerd central too.

I remember when it was just the trouts that were annoying the forums. Better days. =/
But it would make sense. And give me a exuse to go see Transformers 2 a number of times. And the time period makes sense, because I doubt that the movie (Clover 2) is going to be done within the next year or 2. Or at least I hope not.

This movie only took 6 months to make, however transformers took a little less than 2 years. On top of that, JJ Abrams is already worrying about 4 things right now(STar Trek, Lost, Cloverfield, dark tower), and it would make since that since Lost will be a short season, he'll go to Cloverfield 2.

How much do you think JJ "worked" on Cloverfield? He didn't direct it... he didn't write it... he didn't star in it... he simply (1) came up with the idea, and (2) secured the funding for it.
Star Trek is different: he's actually DIRECTING that one.

Star Trek was originally going to be released by December 2008, which means it would be done by the end of the year. But they won't release it till may now. So in that time period he could make CLoverfield 2.

Well yeah he could... WAIT! It's all a coverup! He IS making Cloverfield 2 and THAT's the real reason behind Star Trek's release date.
