Something else interesting I realized is that there's no mention of any postmortem of MGP (the LSA), so it would seem either he got away or they actually managed to blow him to complete smithereens. The military is pretty good at bombing, but forensics are REALLY good - something that large would probably leave pieces. "It's still alive" is sounding more and more like the truth of the matter.

Oh, and K1Ng5p4d3 I am thinking that if those files exist and aren't on a website, they're hidden somewhere on that Blu-Ray disc. Cloverfield even in HD is a pretty short film, and even with the extras I doubt it would totally fill the 50 gb the disc is capable of. There should be room for those files on there.

Yeah, kinda like on the regular dvd how they have those inactive usgx files there. Well, inactive as far as we know for now anyways. Maybe on the blueray disc they are all unlocked.. did anybody check the declassified files on the dvd in comparison to the files that are mentioned in the investigation mode of the bluray?

Agreed and after they so called "blew clover to timbuktu" how did they not find Huds remains along with many horse remains and possibly the ear of the statue of liberty. So yea i think he got away but the military tells America that they got em. And they dont talk about clover the way they would if he was dead... so ...its still alive.

Wow.

They mentioned Teddy and Jamie, Rob's mother, as well as the helicopter pilot that died, but no mention of Alyse Hanssen.

Any thoughts?

Alyse didnt have any type of impact on the events of 1-18-08. She was more of an afterthought than anything else. They didnt mention her because nobody probably had any knowledge whatsoever of her exsistence before she put up her blogsite.

Oh, I definitely feel as if I'm going to burst with excitement! If only I had a Blu-Ray player...

Im not too excited about Blu-Ray. Im still satisfied with hi-def dvd and a kick ass surround sound system. I mean, i know that there was more jammed into the bluray version of the dvd, but I still have the feeling that sooner or later people will give up on bluray and itll become a dead technology.

I know that this has been beaten to death, but why didn't they mention Lily?

That's actually a really good question. They point out the exact parasite that was later examined, but when shown close-ups of her they give nothing to say whether she's alive or dead.
Obviously it's just to drive us up a frickin wall, but still.

yup, its to leave us in speculation of whether she got away clean or not. Im assuming that all of the people that they are naming in the notes, they are named because their bodies have been identified, that is to say, that they are all deceased - or in Teddys case and Ganu's case, they are suspected in being involved in this whole mess so the gov't obviously knows who they are . Lily has not been named because she got away and there is no possible way to find out who she is unless they want to go and interview the thousands of people evacuated from Manhattan.
Wow. That actually occured to me right this second. Damn im good, lol.
