/SL2 Thread

This is a thread about /sl2. All the stuff with the seasons belongs here. Post about anything interesting you find, or any speculations you might have.

What's with all the numbers around the website... They must have some relevance.
Also I found a date on a picture of what I'm sure is S.W's Eye.. Any idea what the date's for?
http://www.silverladder.com/spring/eye/

What have you guys found.

The audio on that page is from PM Dawn.

Quote:
PM Dawn - Intro (The Bliss Album ) lyrics

"A lot of strange words,
being said.
I assure you their innocient,
But you should know what they mean.
Because no-one should take part in anything if they
dont know what it means...."

(Marge Suti)- "Prince, Who is Prince?
A mellow guild by exterior
Kinda lovable...
But underneath lurkes,
things that might be unexpected
And right here we've definetly got a very interesting,
human being.
Maybe a time traveller,
Maybe from another dimention,
Not an earth bound creature,
Learning how to BE here,
But his mind is elsewhere..."

The date signifies when he kicked his drug habit and climbed a mountain of sorts in Arizona as a sort of remembrance. He repeats this process every year.

Although, I might be wrong. That's just what I vaguely recall him saying to us. (Someone wanna' correct me if necessary, please?)

He only repeats the climbing process every year. Wink

But yeah, that's exactly what I recall him saying.

And good idea starting this thread, Wyatt. Some of use can't look at all the seasons and things because they tend to blow up firefox. So I can now live through this thread. YAY!

So has all the seasons stuff been investigated before? I've had a quick look through this forum and didn't spot anything - haven't done a search though.

Only ask as there is tons of stuff there.

The majority of the SL2 content was up there before the rabbit hole opened, but some of it is different.

Here is a nice map of the old Silver Ladder site made by Uberg33k. It might help you see what is new and what isn't.

For what it's worth, I have a complete copy of the SL2 and SL3 sites: http://sl-team.org/sl-new.zip

Actual Reality sometimes interferes with the Alternate.

This is one of those times. Please savor the current SL content before pressuring the GM for more, as they are currently unable to devote their full attention to the game. Alternate Reality will resume once real life tasks are taken care of, just bear with them and give them a little time.

You could also go outside, build a fort, paint a self-portrait, learn a foreign language, introduce a friend to some new music, improve your bird calls, get some rest, play a video game, hide from bears... The possibilities are numerous.

He's acting as a messenger for those who are behind the scenes. It'd be best if you abide by what he said.
