ALISDAIRPARK(Master Twisted Evil ),can't we just use the LBS messaging system with Jaana@LB005?

lol...forgot about that! Hi slave/stalker!

I just emailed back to Jaana at the LB address. What I was meaning was just that it wasn't clear what we are supposed to do with the answer.

That'll do pig pancito, that'll do

edit: new email..lots of info in here:
Quote:
Jaana@LB005: Well, they're done with the Numbers Test.
GRehan@LB017: Already? That's a good thing, right?
Jaana@LB005: I believe so, although I am in a little bit of shock. They are an odd lot, but they work well together.
GRehan@LB017: You know they'll blow through the Tunnels in minutes.
Jaana@LB005: Like you said: that's a good thing, right?
GRehan@LB017: Told you these silly little tests were childish. The old way worked so much better.
Jaana@LB005: Which way was that? "Pistols at dawn" or "lance on horseback"?
GRehan@LB017: They made me use a claymore.
Jaana@LB005: Figures. I didn't have to go through so much.
GRehan@LB017: There was no need; you being a Lightbringer was rather obvious. Your readings were off the chart.
Jaana@LB005: Flattery will get you nowhere.
GRehan@LB017: You tease.
Jaana@LB005: Got some good news, though; the recruits have made contact with the prospect. She might open up with their help.
GRehan@LB017: If she is a Beacon like Katia thinks, the whole world's going to be after her.
Jaana@LB005: True. How about the other one?
GRehan@LB017: Hard to tell. She certainly doesn't look or act the type, though. We're trying to find someone to make contact.
Jaana@LB005: She got a name yet?
GRehan@LB017: I assume, but I don't know it yet. It's normally Katia's region, but she has to focus on the one we're more sure about. This other girl's doubtful.
Jaana@LB005: Well, we gotta try. We need to know. I go contact her myself if I have to.
GRehan@LB017: I'd rather you didn't. the SMs are on to her; they're closing in. It might be too dangerous.
Jaana@LB005: "Danger" is my middle name.
GRehan@LB017: Uh huh. Right. Anyway, gotta run before Laine blows up the lab.
Jaana@LB005: Bye.
***END OF LINE***

edit 2: so they live for years centuries...and there's two girls out there...one good one bad?

I don't think the implication is that they live for centuries, let's not jump to conclusions. I think it's a play off of the idea that the lightbringers are so old-fashioned, as referenced by Jaana herself.

I agree, i didnt see anything in there to imply anything other than a normal life span. Honestly I know several people who would prefer to settle things with pistols at dawn.

The image was Moon02 when we first saw it, now it's Moon04. So far, it's following the cycles of the moon quite diligently. My guess is there's nothing special about it, just a fun moon tracker.

Just to let everyone know, I failed miserably, broke down, exploded, and generally caused a lot of drama over the several hours I was agonising over it. Before being told that, after solving 2/3 of one part, I still had 2 more stages to go.

So at least one person got stumped by this.

We're not sure yet, on either count. The proposed theories for what SM means (being talked about in the Light's thread) are Shadow Men, Shadow Makers, and Strawberry Muffins. I vote for option number two, myself. ;P

Near as I can guess, we're after the other girl because she's something important to the LBs. What exactly that something important is and what abilities we think we'll get from that, we don't know.

but she isn't that important as valenti like stated in the conversation
aboout valenti
Quote:
Jaana@LB005: Got some good news, though; the recruits have made contact with the prospect. She might open up with their help.
GRehan@LB017: If she is a Beacon like Katia thinks, the whole world's going to be after her.

and about the other
Quote:
GRehan@LB017: Hard to tell. She certainly doesn't look or act the type, though. We're trying to find someone to make contact.
Jaana@LB005: She got a name yet?
GRehan@LB017: I assume, but I don't know it yet. It's normally Katia's region, but she has to focus on the one we're more sure about. This other girl's doubtful.

as stated it looks like valenti would be a bigger price for us to get then the unamed girl
