I still think TIDOwave are the good guys. I dont think they just left Teddy behind, the guy who posted on the TIDOwebsite ("To MissingTeddyHanssen. There's no help coming. Stop your campaign. There's nothing here.") was probably put there by John Garreti or some other person who wasn't involved with TIDO. Yeah that would mean the site was hacked, just like they put the sword on the website.

i gotta agree with sander. TIDO is definitely the good guys in this storyline, or at least the people who are trying to expose tagruato for what they really are. On the other hand, part of what melodyman said is right. I think that your putting way more thought into the game than the puppetmasters are putting into it, only in that i highly doubt that they would put that many twists into the story line. The mystery of the whole thing is enough, i they made it pretty clean cut on who the good guys and the bad guys are. Nice theory though Smile

I wouldn't be suprised if TIDO somehow was responsible for pissing MGP and (subsequently) the destruction of Chuai

TIDO was there at the time that monster woke up, so you could have a point. Hopefully we will find out more about this.

Haha this is starting to bug me now. If Tag had known about MGP for a long time and that was the reason Chuai was built (researching MGP, getting seabed nectar from him/parasites/whatever) then it would be fair to assume that Tag had the situation under control to the extent of the Chuai disaster. You could say TIDO was responsible because they could have shown up to Chuai to protest against something else (on the TIDO website they say something about noise pollution in the ocean because of Tag and how whales essentially starved to death because of it so maybe they were there to stop that?) and instead they found out the secret Tag was hiding and literally blew it out of the water. That's one way to look at it.

Thats a possiblity, but we know Tagruato did have contact with the monster and the parasites not saying Tidowave couldnt of woke him up, just saying Tagruato discovered him and used him and or the parasites to make a profit.
