Events coming up on June 17th Been lurking...
Did some searches for events happening on June 17, 2008. (Perhaps to hone in on the PM to see where things are heading)
Not sure if any are related, Though if they are I would rather they be commercial in nature than political...

All that said, June 17th may be an IG event, but can't see the tie in to an OOG product.
Perhaps it is not june 17th that is important, but the number 17 itself. Perhaps the 17th video has important information or the 17th post. Or perhaps 617 or 6/17 (0.3529) is the point of emphasis.
Either way June 17th doesn't seem to be the destination, but a step to something else

Not sure if this relates but I noticed after getting back in town and catching up on this weekends activities, that something may be happening on June 17th.
I looked up the shows for "Your Vegas" and they are doing a show tonight (June 9th) at

The most significant event that I would see would be the Icelandic National Day which celebrates the day that Iceland gained independence from Danish rule. June 17 is the birthdate of Jón Sigurðsson , the leader of the Icelandic independence movement. He held a residence in Copenhagen.
Now what?

Igor Stravinsky mastered Mendelssohn's Piano Concerto in G minor at age 14. He also knew Picasso and was a subject of some of his sketches (see Picasso's Wikipedia entry for one of them). Igor Stravinsky was born on June 17th 1882.

Still stuck on June 17... I'm still stuck on June 17... Been thinking about other ways to write June 17... One of which is 617, which as the wikipedia entry for it comments:
Quote:
617 prime number, sum of five consecutive primes (109 + 113 + 127 + 131 + 137)
Perhaps an IP and port number? (109.113.127.131:127) Don't have time to check the IP and port right now.... probably another wild tangent/false path.

Hmm, this might also be a long shot, but I suddenly remembered that Freyja Capital / Holomove grant at ASQA.org for half a million bucks... it was announced on May 15th and they said they expected the deal to close within 30 days... that's not exactly June 17th, but it's close (only 3 days prior). Any chance it's related to ASQA.org?

Interesting thought. Tried to go down that path with my own bias that June 17 is more than June 17.... noted the format in the url http://www.asqa.org/content/view/17/1/ and tryed to change the url to http://www.asqa.org/content/view/6/17/
and got

It depends what source you use. Wikipedia lists the battle date as June 17th which Agent Lex already pointed out.

And Sveinn was the first president of newly independent Iceland. It's not usual for me to be a step ahead of the PM's, cmon RK, catch up!

Heh, another June 17th reference of course... this one is about the formation of the independent Republic of Iceland on June 17th 1944, and its first president, Sveinn Björnsson.
If only we knew what awaits us on June 17th... we're all going to start dreaming (or having nightmares) about June 17th at this rate!
EDIT: Ack! Kayberry beat me to it!
