Hi all.

Not after the full solution, just want to know if I'm going in the right direction with this. Spent weeks now after being passed it by my girlfriend.

She has had it for 3 months.

The light no longer work but I can hear little clicks when I turn it in certain directions. Is this relevant?

Seems to be a turn and slide puzzle idea but after looking at the other link above, that one seems to suggest something else.

Hi,

I got a Tutankhamun NKryptor for Christmas and it has been driving me crazy. I've tried magnets and almost everything else I can think of but I still haven't been able to get it open. Do the lights even mean anything? I would really appreciate it if someone would give me some advice.

Iv'e been trying to open this thing for six months, it's driving me so mad that i'm about to bin it or drive over it! can someone please pm me to put me out of my misery and tell me how it opens?

Need some help with getting into the box
Hi all,

I'm new to this board and looking for someone to give me some advice on how to get into the Nkryptor box. I've had the thing for 6 months now and still can't figure out how to get in. I've worked out that there are at least 3 things blocking the lid from opening. I can make the 2 outer ones move with the use of magnets, but the third (middle) one seems stuck fast. No amount of twisting, turning, shaking, tapping or using magnets appears to be able to make it move. Can anyone PM me with some instructions or tips on what to do next?

 		I'm embarrassed to say exactly how long I've had this thing, but I've had it stuck 3-4mm open now for a loooong time.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I see a single post inside which doesn't seem to move in the slightest.

So I suspect I may have one of the faulty ones, so if someone could PM me with a solution I'd be very grateful.

I'm at the point now where if I don't open it soon it'll just get burried in a drawer never to be seen again.

Needless to say, if it is faulty, I won't be best pleased...

My suspicions about it being faulty seem to have been well founded.

Don't think I can say much more without giving anything away.

I'm quite annoyed that I spent that much time on it when I never had a cat in hells chance of opening it Mad

I managed to open my NK1 last nite after a few days of trying, but only got it open half way (enough to take out the disk and read the code), however i cant get the cover to slide any further off, or to go back on again to close it.
Can anyone pm me some help/instructions on how to remove/reset the lid?
