I also recieved the Umbrati recruiting message and responded with my contact information and supplied Richard as a reference. We'll see what happens.

Seems to have made adult films ("Asia" as a stage name and getting recognized by perverts? Obviously porn) and she really doesn't seem to like men much.

Am I a bad person for thinking "Lesbian porn star? Oh gods I want to the contact person for her please. *big pervish puppy eyes*" XD

At least we know Otra's name now and why she doesn't fit in with the Lights.

Reconsidered, sent them my full address. The package thing seems quite likely.

EDIT: They've acknowleged.

Hmm, mine was not acknowledged. Dunno if yahoo is just being slow again or what. Maybe only the first to respond got in? Though you had to have only beaten me by seconds Twiler Razz

Probably, yes.

While I remember, another exchange I had with them:

Quote:
What does CSAT-1 stand for exactly? I imagine that SAT-1 stands for satellite one, but what does the C signify?

Reply:

Thank you for contacting Nyx Telecommunications.

Although it has not been officially stated, general concensus is that the "C" stands for "Communications", and "CSAT" (or "CSat", in some cases) simply meaning "Communications SATellite".

Once again, thank you for contacting Nyx Telecommunications.

I wonder if the satellite is actually Charon?

Based on this, I experimented with variations on 'stygiancrossing' for the password for the Umbrati rabbithole, but I didn't get anywhere.

because there's more traffic here i'll post here what i mosted on the mail thread a new one from chiaro named Blinded By the Dark

Quote:
H003: Adam?
A005: Yes?
H003: I just looked at your recruiter trials. You're not serious, are you?
A005: I haven't had much time to do something proper.
H003: We're recruiting field agents and operatives, not kindergardeners.
A005: I've had some recruits that were unable to READ. Now you're being picky?
H003: But, come on...
A005: The way I see it, it's Law of Averages. For every village idiot there's a Rhodes Scholar.
H003: I hope this isn't a mistake.
A005: Look, we need as many recruits as possible. Someone's going to pay for what happened, and we need all the help we can get.
H003: Fine then, I'll leave it to you. I don't have the mind for this today anyway.

Heh. If you're on the light side, you're new recruits. If you're dark siders, you get referred to as kindergartners.

Youse guys have some meaaaaaan bosses.

I had a go at the cryptography:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

1. Base64: 'Mary, Paul, and'
2. Caesar Cipher: 'Donald, Goofy and'
3. Vigenere (key:'ODD MAN OUT'): 'Raphael, Gabriel and'

Going down the encryptor list, it should be Enigma next, but I'm at a loss as to where to get the decrypting info.

lol

I'm in on this, it's pretty cool; been away from ARG's for like 9mo.

I think it's funny that I choose this and see that Nyx is on Vanderbilt Ave. and LB company has a site in Nashville. I go to Vanderbilt University (of course located in Nashville). Not in TN right now though so don't ask me to visit sites.

Got the same and stuck the same. Unfortunately it's time for lunch, so you all will have blown through these by the time I get back. Wink

Does anyone have the Research I yet? I can figure out most of the images, but not all. Even if I knew them all I don't understand how to get an answer out them.

Cleared Cryptography One.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I still haven't worked out the last, but I solved the clues for the first three, and got Peter, Mickey and Michael.

This made the answers:

1. Peter
2. Micky (This spelling)
3. Michael
4. Davy

Together: The Monkees
