Meta: I bet that this was supposed to be found before Eli's latest podcast about the lost rings. The Artifact location was found May 23, and the podcast came out May 29.

Right now it seems a little anti-climatic coming so late after Eli explained the meaning to us.

So the sculpture was created, then the 5 rings were immediately taken apart and hidden.

Together with "there is no sixth ring," this hints more at the Lost Ring being a kind of meta ring (like those trailer rings forming one ring together) rather than the Lost Ring just being a lost one of those five, uh?

But then again, in the TLR site trailer there are six rings ...

You think it is against the climate? Has this anything to do with global warming? Wink

What's that bit about making us wise in the year that time stops, eh? When is that? Never? Confused

I know no Esperanto, but one online translation service translated that sentence like "[... it] will arrow you during the year when time ceases."

One could interpret that as "will guide you when the time [period = this Olympiad?] ends" (meta), which would coincide with TLR's set end date, the closing ceremony on August 24th.(/meta)

But as I am no expert: How much freedom do you have translating Esperanto?

Yeah... that is intense Surprised Does the world end for us, or will everybody freeze while the six run around in a different dimension - like that 80's tv show with the girl who could stop time?

Anyway, thanks to Mr. Judkins and Arun for the coordination and recovery, and to Dav for the speedy translation.

As for Ariock's comment about Eli's podcast... I do think that perhaps the timing is off, but there's still info to be gleaned - even if it's just a confirmation that we'll have to bring together the five physical rings to access the sixth (perhaps intangible) ring. So, interesting, either way! Smile
